Radio edits - If it's true that listeners decide within the first 6 seconds whether to switch to something else, I think this has enough grab. I'm more about the beginning than the end.

Okay, i was really nervous about this radio edit. I love trespassing but didn't quite love the first edit we heard. It was fine but seemed kind of arbitrary and unnecessary to me. But this one I get! It definitely changes up the song but in a good, fresh way, I think. I like the ending! Yay! I truly hope radio will play the heck out of it!

I don't think the ending really matters for radio ... they always cut off the song before the ending anyway ... sort of like coitus interruptus, (maybe songus interruptus?) >:( ... which is one of the reasons I rarely listen to radio, songs never resolve to the end and you are left hanging waiting for those last few notes.

You have company. I like the B104 version too. It has more energy. Nice to know I'm not alone in my opinion! I just think the song doesn't need so much paraphernalia. I think Adam's voice and the bass are the stars of the song and they need to shine above all else. Those other thingses (lol... I've totally added that word to my vocabulary) spoil it a little for me. But oh well, what do I know, right? If this radio edit helps make the radios play the song, I all for it. ;D Edit: I meant 'I'm all for it'. lol I'm too tired. :-/ |

I am certainly not a music expert, but could that be Niles with the new guitar part? Doesn't sound like guitar to me. Sounds like synth set to sound like guitar. I also hear a bit of added vocal harmony at a couple of points in the song. Don't know why the changes, but, the song sounds good in any version, including acoustic. "@radiochloe: Pitched up 2% means the song is sped up. That's why sometimes songs sound faster when you hear them on the radio than the original.  " See her feed - she explains more. |
