We don't get a lot of information about their relationship, but the little we know makes me very happy. They seem to have such a great relationship, don't they? :wub: And whenever Adam mentions Sauli and I see his eyes light up, I get this goofy smile in my face... It's completely crazy and a little bit fangirl, but I can't control it. lol It's just so beautiful to watch, isn't it? And I better stop gushing now before I embarrass myself further. lol :redface: |

yep, it would interfere with their relationship, but it is not unethical. Conflict of interest, peripherally. No, no! It has nothing to do with their relationship! It has to do with fair judging of the contestants. I don't give a fuck about their relationship. It would affect their judging. It will be like having 3 judges instead of 4. Well, my question is - as Idol has said Randy was instrumental in brokering the deal for Mariah- did he get 20% of Mariah's salary as her manager? If he did, I do think it's highly unethical that he gets that cut and then gets a cut of his own. If he was negotiating on equal footing, he should have stepped out of Mariah deal and not used his inside influence to get her job and collect from the judge coffers twice. Not an attorney, but that just smacks of conflict of interest, IMO. Also, of course, we don't have definitive proof AI floated names of ALL THESE "CONTENDERS" mentioned lo these last two months, but if names weren't coming from them, then from whom? Random journalists just flinging names around, willy nilly? Mind you, Nigel DID say, the day the Eonline Adam story first broke, "You will hear many names mentioned over the next several weeks...." What is the point of that (other than flagrant PR grabs), other to gauge a reaction? And another point, we've read enough Idol rumors stories with the phrase, "sources say" to fill a wing of the Library of Cogress since early July. AI is nothing if not efficient at keeping its direct connection to any rumor off the record. |

This is a silly TV singing contest. j/s They don't need four judges anyhow. The AI judges been reading producer's notes and going with what the producers want for years. Remember, it's about the advertising dollar and nothing more. I haven't seen consistently "fair judges" on any of the three singing/reality shows, so Randy and Mariah being in a business relationship isn't going to matter. |

Peeps are reporting that the View said Randy has already sealed the deal with Idol. Anyone watched that show? What did they actually say? Did they quote any source?
