Here's the thing, if they wanted to go "more radio friendly" than they should have just chosen Cuckoo. And the irony of choosing Adam's mission statement and then changing it to be more radio friendly is well......... ironic! I'm not going to say anythhing else about the songs. I don't want to be a "wanker." It's still Adam's mission statement. He didn't compose the music or the arrangement of the music, Pharrell did. The words are still the same. I understand if some don't prefer the new version, but why would taking out some of the spaces and riffs and adding a few things here and there change the whole meaning and purpose of the song? Adam loves the added production on songs. He loves all the bells and whistles. (ex. Dr. Luke : How do we know it wasn't Adam who wanted these changes and wanted this radio edit of the TSP?

Reading your reactions, I guess this Slezak is a reliable source? Is he also a glambert? Not really a Glambert ... he's a Kris fan. (And a Haley fan.) ETA: Although he did do an article about why he thought Adam should be a judge ... so I guess that makes him on Adam's side.

SEPTEMBER 11, 2012 08:36 AM PDT Randy Jackson Returning as American Idol Judge for Season 12: It's Confirmed BY MICHAEL SLEZAK tvline.com/2012/09/11/randy-jackson-american-idol-judge-season-12/
In much the same way he begins most of his performance critiques, Randy Jackson’s journey back to the American Idol judges’ table for Season 12 has been a long, strange, and circuitous one. Now, TVLine has confirmed that the show’s sole original panelist will indeed return alongside newcomer Mariah Carey, as well as one or two other musicians, when the reality juggernaut returns to the airwaves in January.
“The rumors are true,” a source close to the show confirmed to TVLine.
Jackson had been widely expected to be stepping away from his position as a judge and into some sort of “mentor” role as Idol underwent another off-season facelift — with Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler both exiting after two-year stints, and Carey officially climbing aboard. But yesterday, former Idol judge and current X Factor honcho Simon Cowell sparked internet buzz by Tweeting “Just heard Randy is back on Idol. Right decision.”
A Fox spokesperson declined to comment on news of Jackson’s return.
ETA
Nicki Minaj, Keith Urban, Enrique Iglesias, and Adam Lambert have all been discussed as potential players on a three- or four-person Idol panel, although several media outlets have reported Minaj and Urban are the most likely to ink their deals.

Reading your reactions, I guess this Slezak is a reliable source? Is he also a glambert? Slezak is an Idolbert. He wrote favorable things about the possibility of Adam becoming a judge. My guess is he is tired of Randy, like everyone else is.

Not really ... he's a Kris fan. (And a Haley fan.) But is his info reliable? Can we trust that Randy's returning after all or could he be mistaken?
