there is a difference between haute couture and pret a porter (ready to wear). Haute Couture is art. It's extreme and daring and obviously not meant to be worn to the grocery to buy milk. I enjoy the fun and excitement of haute couture even if these garments are nothing I could ever wear. loved Adam's look at fashion week. The Blondes fashions looked like costumes to me, too. I don't think all haute couture fashions are like that. I saw Christian Siriano's collection and it was beautiful and wearable. The Blonds aren't mainstream designers the way Christian Siriano is obviously. He's a brilliant designer and I love his clothes but he is much more ready to wear than haute couture. The Blonds are a niche fashion house that caters to extreme tastes.

I don't. I mean, I'm okay with it on the CD but it's not my favourite and surely not for a single. I love Shady but don't think it's single material either. And even though I think he won't get another single if Trespassing tanks...if for some reason he does get another single, it should be Naked Love (though that's more a summer song imo) or Pop That Lock. Pop That Lock too, yes. Naked Love, I don't think it'd work that well. But maybe I'm thinking in Spanish terms when it comes to succesful singles in my country. I never thought Cuckoo would work well here. Maybe in the UK? Naked Love can't be released in the US because of the title Pop That Lock would have been my choice.

I like the radio edit (especially the one the Texas station played). And, basically, it is what it is. I hope fans can get behind it because if Trespassing does not do at least moderately well, there will most likely be no more singles from this era. How this single does is kind of important. I don't think it's that dramatic. I've always tought that Cuckoo and Shady would work better as singles than Trespassing. If this doesn't work out, for God's sake, I really hope they try Cuckoo. Who doesn't love Cuckoo? I'm sure that one would work. why would RCA put a 4th single out if 3 failed to catch on? It's a business and putting out singles costs money. They'll have zero incentive to keep supporting this era if another single flops.

I do not think that we know what the radio strategy is or if this is the radio edit that will be sent worldwide. > BTW I like it. But that is just one person's opinion. The "consensus" of one Adam news board is probably the opinion of 10 or 15 people who are Adam fans. And that is not a useful indicator of what the general music buying public will like. The "consensus" of Adam fans in early November 2009 was that FYE was going to go Platinum and WWFM should not be released as a single. Go back and look, I was one of many who really believed in FYE. Hits are hard to predict. If it was easy, A&R execs would not be paid so much. Well to be fair to FYE as a single IF it had been released by Rhianna, Britney or Kesha it would've shot straight to #1. The song is a great song. Please don't tell people what to do.You think the radio stations have enough man power to monitor hundreds if not thousands of fan boards reading through millions of posts to find out what a bunch of deranged (like us) fans think? I tend to doubt that. They can post polls - which we usually interpret as a call for hits and not opinions.... But in case someone from the industry is interested: Hey there! I LOVE TRESPASSING by ADAM LAMBERT! You can go ahead and edit the shit out of it and I will love it in any incarnation! Thank you. Crazy devoted fan.

Personally, I also think that the FYE video is the best of the videos Adam has produced so far. Trespassing was also my first choice for single in this era. So, I am ready to support it. No matter the version they select. I have also supported BTIKM and NCOE but I am more enthusiastic now :D

Like Adam has said, the negative voices tend to overpower the positive, that's true even for the music. I personally think that's part of what killed NCOE on radio. The fans wanted an Adam written song and they weren't shy about voicing that opinion, even to Adam himself.

The idea that RCA switched singles because of the AMAs is a popular myth but the reality is they switched singles BEFORE the AMA performance because radio wasn't playing FYE. Adamofficial announced WWFM as the new single on 11/16/09 www.adamofficial.com/us/news/adams-new-single-whataya-want-meThe AMA performance was 11/22/09.
