WWFM was a song that did very well on several charts. Adam's nomination was also in a category where there wasn't that many options of artists who did well- Pop Male Vocals. We knew it was a good possibility. We knew that Adam did have a platinum selling Pop single in a category where there wasn't a great deal of competition.

If you look at the couple of years, all the nominations for Best Pop Vocal Album have had at the very least, gone gold with most of them going platinum. The only one that didn't was Cee Lo's album (which was still selling much better than TSP is) and it had the single Forget You, which has now sold over 5 million copies.

This is such a long shot, unless the new single EXPLODES in the next month and becomes such a huge seller and chart topper that it causes the album to jump back into the Top 20 and start selling 25K or more a week. By EXPLODES, I mean Born This Way, or Never Ever Ever type iTunes placement and chart jumps.

This would be a downright miraculous happening in today's music industry.



The BB #1 is about timing and a little bit of luck. It's for bragging rights, but what matters in the long run is how well an album keeps selling or if singles come off of the album that do very well. So far, neither of these things have happened. They are not going to consider timing and the luck of the draw, to get a BB #1, when looking at nominations.

TSP could get a nom, if they strictly look at the history aspect. That's the one thing TSP has going for it, as far as factors for a possible nomination, at this moment.
