Still hanging in until an official AI announcement. Too many hands and poker faces in this game to know the outcome yet.
ETA - Is "singing for" the same thing as saying "the judges are"? Maybe splitting hairs but still.

Why is Adam leaving us believe all this time he may have it why not put us out of our misery and just say he is not doing Idol. Love you Adam.. This is what I think is strange....why doesn't he just say he hasn't got it. That wouldn't take away from the speculation about WHO does have it. |

And if Idol really doesn't have their panel finalized and Adam is "on standby"? That is just crazy !!!!
Maybe it will all make sense - or maybe not.
I have lots of great things in RL but this is kinda driving me crazy. Just want it over.

It's possible he's not denying it because he (or his management) want to get as much mileage about being mentioned as a possibility for as long as he can. Either way his name is in the news and that can't hurt given that radio isn't giving him much of a shot...

In the a case like this does a gag order usually just stop one from saying that you got a job, or could it keep one from saying that they didn't get a job as well. I think Adam thought he was in the running pretty late in the game. Judging by some recent articles so did some press. Just very odd and really wish there was a way to know what went wrong.

If Adam is on standby they are just messing with him. He will do just fine with or without IDOL - a sold out SA tour is just for starters!! Meanwhile if he does not get it I will make positive use of my free IDOL time . New years resolution will be to do those exercise videos that are lurking in my basement.   |
