Adam's tweets from last night sound to me like they could have been coming from someone spending time watching videos while holed up (alone?) in a hotel room. Interesting that the contest winners will be announced on Sunday night. It could be a diversionary tactic, or it could be done to take advantage of the Idol spotlight and coincide with giving us the cover art and add date for the single. I don't even know what I'm saying anymore. I know I may be reaching. But I'm holding on until the official announcement. If Adam won't be on Idol, I don't get why he can't say so. I don't think he'd still be under a confidentiality obligation. He wouldn't be "spoiling" anything since everyone in the press thinks the judges will be the four revealed on Katie Couric's TV show and in all the online news articles--and apparently also divulged by Nigel during the auditions. The media doesn't even consider Adam to be part of the equation anymore, so him confirming that wouldn't be a surprise to any reporter following the story. He could casually address it during a Twitter party or just head out to his local Whole Foods in California, far far away from the American Idol auditions in New York. I must say, if Randy is on the panel, I give Idol major props for disregarding any possible viewer resistance to having a heavily African American panel. They will definitely be unique in comparison to their competition's panels. I thought they were trying to mimic them in configuration and diversity (and still think that was/could be the goal). Shoshanna called Adam a "silver fox." Meaning just good-looking (kind of an old-fashioned expression), or also wily like a fox? Or is that a reference to the Fox network? Okay, I admit I'm just playing now (but kinda sorta not, 'cause I'm crazy like that). All kidding aside, I've accepted the possibility of the alternative, but I find that I'm unable to give up hope until it's final.

Originally from UK and lots of Brits call dinner "tea Time". High or Afternoon tea would traditionally be around 4 pm. I think of it as china cup, with pinky held up and delicate sandwiches with things like cucumber. Most Brits don't do that but most like their "cuppas". I know places like the Ritz do something like that over here. I remembering a British co-worker mentioning going some years back.

Poll: The Greatest Guitarist of All Time, Round 4 — Les Paul Vs. Brian May The match-up should be ending in about an hour. What started as a close match, with Les Paul ahead of Dr. Bri by a few points, is ending up with Dr. Bri winning the match 60% to 40%. Great job to everybody who helped bring this one home safely for Brian, just as he did for Adam in Hammersmith... (<<photobucket probs continue. If this image doesn't display, just so you know, it's the gif of Dr. Bri escorting Adam off-stage after Dragon Attack.) Winning this round puts Brian May in the Top 8 Guitarists of All Time. Round 5 for Brian will be coming up late this week, pitting him against the winner of the Jimmy Page versus Robert Johnson match-up to get into the Top 4. www.guitarworld.com/poll-greatest-guitarist-all-time-round-4-les-paul-vs-brian-may

Okay, I admit I'm just playing now (but kinda sorta not, 'cause I'm crazy like that). I think Silver Fox is usually used to describe a "foxy" person who is aging (gray hair)--but not Adam's case. Since it might be another quiet day, check out a fan contest video that Wal posted. It has actual singers and much higher production quality. They deserve some hits. Twin sister act. www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=RzxhacLUOow#!

Adam has reasons to maintain a good relationship with Idol -- it is an important promotional connection for him. AI9 - he was the Top 9 mentor + performed on the results show, AI10 he performed on the Top 13 Results show, AI11 he performed on the Top 3 results show.
Whatever happens, Idol will do something for Adam again this year.
--
If he breached the confidentiality agreement, as others have, it would hurt him with Idol and damage his reputation in the industry.
Adam is not alone -- Enrique, Pharrall and others have also said nothing.

When he tweeted the contest winners would be announced on Sunday. Why Sunday? Whats so special about Sunday. Not giving up yet, might have to go see for myself on Sunday.
