I also think Adam refused it.
I already explained why. The reasons are totally altruistic. No one would see other judges. Adam's halo is too sparkly and radiant. He didn't want to jeopardize Randy's health, he's not a youngster anymore.

I told you guys that the show is stupid . NOW LET ME EXPLAIN MYSELF SINCE THE LAST TIME I SAID THIS I GOT A BACKLASH FROM IT : When I say that Idol is stupid , no , I didn't mean the that the "idea of finding a bright new star" is stupid , I did not mean the people who watch the show are stupid , My God , no . What I mean by this is that the Producers and the ppl BEHIND Idol are plain , very , very , very STUPID . Hell !! They even fucking *cheated* to deprive Adam from his Much-Deserved Crown . Because he is Gay . Jewish . Hot . White . Too Much Glambulge for TV . Screamer . His name is Adam (really ?) and on and on . That's what I meant . .........And I guess this announcement today pretty pretty much proved my point , right ? Riiiiiiight ?? kamar.. I may not like their decisions and I don't watch the show anymore but I'm not going so far to say the show is stupid. I will be forever greatful for Idol, because without Idol, Adam would still be strugle trying to make it in LA. He tried to make it for 10years in LA and not until Idol everybody knows him and you know him and all his fans around the world know that Adam Lambert is exist. So again, I will never ever say AI is a stupid show. Adam would have done it one way or the other . As I said before , Adam is here because of his talent . Not Idol . Look at Kris Allen . Where is he ? Does anybody remember him ? He was on the same show , Won the show , But nothing . Again , Adam is here because of his talent . |

I will always be thankful to AI for introducing us to ADAM but I am done with it now. Part of me is so disappointed because of the additional publicity he would have had, because it was something he wanted and because I would have been able to watch him twice a week. The other part knows he will be fine. He will soar higher and higher while I believe Idol has missed a golden opportunity to do something fresh and different, to keep itself competitive with the newer shows and keep itself afloat.  Now moving forward with positivity and anticipation for all the great things that will surely be in store for Adam |

I am disappointed Adam is not on the judging panel but I will still watch the show. Granted, it will be through DVR'ing & FFwd'ing instead of live viewing, as is usual for me. Were he to be a judge, I would most certainly have tuned in live for Adam. Who knows what's in the offing? Life has taught me not to burn bridges. He may turn up as a mentor, future judge, etc. Or not. We'll see what the universe has in store for him. Looking forward to Adam's next project(s) and I wish Idol much success! (Of course, you know my biggest regret is not seeing the fab weekly hairdo.) : ETA: This was not meant as a comment on the posts up top. I started composing this and by the time I proof read and posted, another page of posts was added. Everyone is entitled to their opinions. |

Recently uploaded Take40 Live Lounge from Sydney. Published on Sep 12, 2012 by Kunoichi102 Sorry this isn't in it's entirety the venue was hot and as such my camera overheated and I was unable to get anything more. I hope you enjoy I know I shouldn't judge any fan for how they choose to enjoy Adam in concert, but, if I was at this show and standing within earshot of the gal who is attempting to sing along with Adam on every song, I would have had to cut the bitch. I am of the ilk that people should be able to do whatever the phuque they want so long as they do not harm others, but this gal singing and partially drowning out that beautiful voice hurts me. Still, I enjoyed the video because Adam is so effervescent. |
