I know you guys all know the drill, but it would be a great time to send a tweet or text to WTMX to let them know you heard and loved Trespassing on the air tonight. Yeah, I am kinda desperate to see this song do well. But, I know someone at this station and early audience response to U-Mix-It is one of the tools they use when deciding what songs to play. Of course, U-Mix-It serves other obvious purposes for this station, but they are looking for feedback in the early days.

He did say a while back he would love to be on the show Lea Michele wanted him on the show ,said she wanted to sing with him, that he was the best ..that was about a year or two ago. Well maybe after Pretty Little Liars.. some TV roles will start coming in.. I agree Q3 I think Adam likes to try everything and is up for it all at the same time.He said he can multitask. That man does have a great deal of energy [/IMG]
ETA: Argh. Once again can't post at end of msg on phone, so I need to post incomplete then edit. ETA2: Finally got to a computer. I'm sure you all were waiting with bated breath for the continuation of my long-winded post Ok, I remember there was an Adam sighting the summer after Idol on the Glee set. There was much speculation about him being on the show. I saw Lea Michele and Cory Monteith (that could be wrong name--guy that plays Finn), where she expressed her love for him and Cory backed her up and said she had a giant crush on him and she blushed. Then she said something like he was the best singer so why not work with the best? I'm thinking for some reason this was on Letterman (maybe Fallon or Kimmel). Not long after, during an interview, after a lot of questions about Glee, AL finally said that he had talked to them but he felt there wasn't a part for him that wasn't stereotype "gay guy" part (like, say, Kurt's older cousin who consults him about dealing with h.s. as a gay male--this is just a scenario I made up). AL said he wanted to concentrate on his music and not be pigeon-holed into as a "gay performer." This is all before the show got really hot and everyone was pushing to be on or have their catalog on it. Perhaps someone could clarify, but I think the show started as a mid-season replacement show, so that's why I'm thinking this happened when show was on hiatus for summer. He also said that he wasn't that good an actor. I always wondered if he was considered but he didn't feel up to it. At that time, he had the greater star power between himself and Glee. I think we need a Burning Questions thread, maybe, for these little mysteries. (Wouldn't work in the questions we would ask him necessarily because I don't think I would pose a question like this to him.) Like JazzRocks, I'm always curious about behind-the-scenes, career-/industy-related "mysteries" (much more so than, say, what he wears to bed--honestly I don't care. Might be in the minority there, tho! ;D) Ah well. It's always the questions that will probably never be answered that I am most curious about.
I love the idea of a burning questions thread for all these questions that keep hanging around -- that someday may be answered!! I will make it this weekend.

I just got on adamstormtrespassing.. lots of good information on helping the new single..plus radio stations and how to get them to request. Also got on June idolforum adam lambert.. this is old news but They said that Adam sold 33,000 copies of trespassing Internationally in the first two weeks when it came out. So 148,000 plus 33,000 .Said trespassing did better initially than FYE. Just trying to get some more info on International sales. I think Adam may be doing better than thought. Of course I don't know where all these numbers are coming from.. but I feel better And the 148K is an old figure. Mid August it was 151.8K There is NO RELIABLE SOURCE FOR MOST INTERNATIONAL SALES. The 33K number is from selected markets. *** Units sold do not translate into revenue or profits generated. RCA/SME is interested in the total profits generated by a project. Other sources matter -- so in Sweden, that would be streaming media revenues. In Japan, ringtones are really significant. In the US, licensing use is a major source of revenue. And there is NO reliable retail sales data for many major markets except for label shipment -- including #2 market Japan, #3 market Germany, #5 market France and #6 Canada.

OT. But, I could get tangential and say it is related to the discussion of Glee, Adam's marriage equality gig, and Cheek's series, Husbands. Have y'all seen the new comedy series on NBC, "The New Normal"? Don't know if I love it or hate it. It is about a gay couple who decides to hire a surrogate to have a baby. Somewhat like Husbands, one is very "straight" acting, and one is flamboyantly gay. The woman/girl they choose to carry their baby is a sorta ditsy, naive, but totally kind hearted girl from the Midwest who has decided to break free of her cheating husband and her ultra-bigoted Grandmother and move to LA with her precocious and geeky 8 year old daughter. The show is the brainchild of Ryan Murphy, creator of Glee, and he says it is "largely based on my life." At times it is funny, at times embarrassingly stereotyping, at times poignant and touching, and at points blatantly and offensively depicting bigotry (makes Archie Bunker sound warm and cuddly). I don't know what to think, but I am amazed that it is on NBC prime time television. Interesting video in this article. Don't know how to bring it over directly. www.usmagazine.com/entertainment/news/nene-leakes-fan-reaction-to-my-new-normal-character-has-been-great-2012119#ooid=x3bXF0NTrMY-i86jBmcnC7moqagv_rHJEpisodes can be viewed here: www.nbc.com/the-new-normal/

Would an appearance on a show as big as Chinese the voice be something that could have a large affect on international sales? I know nothing about the Chinese market.
