The poll was difficult for me because I do really like the Silver Fox look. It's different, cool, and I hope he keeps it a while.
But ... I have been watching a lot of Glam Nation videos lately and realize how much the dark hair brings out Adam's blue eyes. With the dark hair, he looks like a classic movie star.
I love the publicity Adam gets with his hairstyles. I also like the statement it makes: We don't have to be like everyone else. We can have our own identities. I believe that Adam's hair is part of what makes him a folk hero, someone who dares to be special.

Calling all ninjas and memory geniuses. I am looking for interviews where Adam talks specifically about his voice. It seems to me that he rarely comments much on it. The music, the songs, the song writing, the energy exchange, occasionally an answer to how he maintains and protects his voice, but very little about the voice itself. I am hoping that others have a better recall than me.
There is this one:
and this one at 7:30
Can you help me locate others? Thanks.

[/IMG] He is right up there.. in silver AND wolf. ETA: LOL was the term FOX used in the 70's or 80's? I don't recall.
I'm going for 70's. I remember it being used a lot referring to someone who was "hot". Plus there were a lot of songs using it. Foxy Lady, 20th Century Fox, Fox on the Run................... And, there was a country superstar known as the Silver Fox (Charlie Rich of "Behind Closed Doors" fame). Adam is foxy no matter what color his hair is.

[/IMG] [/IMG] It seems like a long time between releases?
We know it is going for official adds. Shoshanna just confirmed it recently. I hope they don't wait too long. Quick question ---when did Adam tweet about the label waiting on "strategic promotional reasons" (or something like that) From the timing of the tweet, does it seem like it came after he would have known about the Idol outcome? I am guessing that he knew he was out when the Trespassing contest was announced. In other words, I am wondering if the "all in good time" promotional stuff wan't actually Idol related and might be referring to something else.

The Charts in France site has published several articles on Adam, every single and the album release are covered. I also found this old piece by Charles Decant (google translation below, bolding is mine) about the female-friendly pop world, a notion that is often discussed in conjucntion with Adam. La pop, c'est plus facile pour les filles (May 30, 2012) Pop, it's easier for girls www.chartsinfrance.net/Adam-Lambert/pop-6.htmlThis week - finally for a few hours - Adam Lambert throne in the ranking of best-selling albums in the United States with "Trespassing," his second album. And a few days ago, the Scissor Sisters explained in an interview (forthcoming) on Pure Charts they were the only band on their niche. Two seemingly unrelated facts that may yet lead us to consider the role of men in pop, a place much more complicated than that of women. Rihanna, Britney, Katy Perry, Kesha, Lady Gaga, Madonna, Christina ... To varying degrees of success and involvement with very variable, these female artists define what is pop today. They dominate the market where men are rare and can not do what they do. The exuberance, the costumes, the fun side, while it is almost forbidden to men. They have two choices: to be urban or rock, at least a little. Unless they are young - Justin Bieber, One Direction - and in this case, they can wait a little longer before deciding. But clearly Bieber goes to urban and One D are more "rock" - everything is relative. Thus, in this masculine duality, store Chris Brown, Flo Rida, Usher and other Jason Derülo one side, the other groups like Maroon 5, Robbie Williams and now even his former band Take That on the other . And not many others, we must admit that the box is a little deserted these days. This division exists because men need to be credible. Not women. Rihanna cares donning sexy outfits - or no - for its promotion. Instead, it is his trademark. Lady Gaga wears meat dresses with Kesha she found in the trash - it is what it says - and Katy Perry changes hair color every week. It is precisely this side superficial part of their artistic personality but a man, he can not afford it. So, pop, true, is deserted by men. There are a few rare specimens, often gay suddenly, and very few are a true place among the general public. Adam Lambert ago, so who managed to climb on top of album sales fall but looks consistent in the second week after the latest figures, to be confirmed later in the day. Side and follows a very pop debut album whose biggest success was as pop / rock, "Whataya Want From Me". And there is also the Scissor Sisters, who have enjoyed phenomenal success, especially in Britain, with their first two albums, but now struggling to reach the public. Pop because, ultimately, and this is undeniable, it's easier for girls.
