[/quote] So far, RCA is staging this well -- First they did a radio edit to make the track more attractive to radio -- it has more energy. They are getting the song some strategic adds -- and getting the song played. The focus for the early stations is HAC -- which is what I was hoping they would do. Start with Adam's strongest supporters. Build the song there. They probably what the track on the radio in November/December/January. So I expect to see Adam doing radio promo concerts this holiday season. If it was me, I would go for HAC adds 2nd week of October. And only spend the money on Pop radio if it performs on HAC. (The promo money is the artist's money, not the label's.) |

And, I haven't seen a whole lot of HAC love this era. Adam's biggest hit, WWFM, was a hit at CHR first and then crossed over to HAC. I will be disappointed if they release the song to HAC first. Oh, and my biggest hope right now is for Adam to get a spot in the Z100 Jingle Ball line-up. He is due to play this gig, and it could be a great way to get an "in" with this station. |

A question????Has anyone has received a message from ground control about the benefit concert tickets etc?
NOT that I can go...too far....but I want to be assured that my membership is active.
I read a lady's comments on the fan site re a ground control message for registering with the ticket agency, and I was not sure if she meant somewhere on the site or through an email.
I renewed my AL membership, and have not received any word via email from the fan site. I am hoping there is not a glitch with my recent renewal. I logged in fine (it remembered my password from my email address).
