Adam has a lot of time between The Voice of China and the concert in Australia. Bet he goes to New Zealand!! ETA: Barry Squire find musicians for many artists including Adam. Looks like a new drummer could be needed. But he works for a lot of people: www.barrysquire.com/But, Q3, do you know why Brian would be tweeting? Are you saying that Brian might be tweeting on behalf of Barry Squire? No. If Brian is doing this for Adam -- which makes sense because he is Adam's music director. Brian is the one who would work with Barry Squire to find a drummer. Brian is tweeting it to get the word out. It might be for someone else -- they both have also worked for Rihanna -- but not as a MD. THE ADAM CONNECTION IS AN ASSUMPTION. ETA: Brian is Musical Director for Bruno Mars, Adam Lambert, Taio Cruz, Jason Derulo, John West, Andy Grammer. Of that list only Adam has worked with Barry Squire. Brian plays keys for Rihanna and would not be seeking a new musician for her. I believe this is for Adam.

I seriously hope Adam is in the US when his single is released. He does not need to release something and leave the country yet AGAINI.!! Really hoping RCA gets this release right.I do think he should visit NZ since they have been so supportive tho. But the timing for this single promo really needs to be right this time. #partypooper

Adam is likely to be in Asia/Pacific until mid October. It will be OK. He has done a ton of prepromotion and knows how to work remote. Plus the RCA promo team needs to do the work here.

It never ceases to amaze me how articulate Adam is in interviews or live chats. Many things he says are so profound and quotable, like what he said in the NZ radio interview yesterday when answering the question on what advice would he give on breaking into the music business. He might not have finished college like the rest of his family, or be the best speller, but I really believe he is extremely intelligent. Brilliant even. I really believe it, too. Actually, I know he is. And it's got nothing to do with having or not having a college degree. You have no idea how many educated, but unwise people I've met, PhDs, Mensa members, who can come across as very shallow, who are unable to handle life's challenges; choleric characters, obsessed with not so relevant facts; who can tell you, for example, when the certain book was published, the title, the author, every fact, and every review, but the essence, the point of the book eludes them... And vice versa - I've met illiterate peasants ( the school I work in is in a rural area) who have more wisdom of life in their pinky nail than all those doctors; who communicate with nature, elements, animals, and they draw their conclusions spontaneously, unpretentiously, silently, but you can tell from their demenour, their relation towards others, or life in general, and their behaviour how enlightened they are... I value intuition over information, contents over package, wisdom over education, quality over quantity;and I feel Adam does as well. In the beginning I thought that there must be many Adams in this world and that I just haven't had the chance to meet them, but I can see that he is a rarity even in the developed countries... in his own country as well... A free spirit, a believer in love, in art... who seeks his happiness in communicating with other people; a sweet character, but not naive or gullible; a great and quick learner, but who never lets his knowledge taint his sweetness with presumptuousness; an iron hand in a silk glove... His socio-emotional intelligence is extremely high, you can tell it from his interviews, from the ways he handles certain situations... He is so positive, agreeable, pleasant... I don't like dark, moody people, who are always bitter and cynical, despicable towards others; Adam's disposition which he works seriously on, his introspectiveness, self-awareness, are so appealing to me. He chooses to be nice and not play some cool dude and he keeps saying he is not cool, but he so is in my book, if not for anything else then for not trying to play one... He is a thinker, focused on matters which he finds relevant and you can tell his priorities from that, his likes and dislikes, dos and donts... And all that combined tells about his moral code and the first and foremost reason why I admire him that much is exactly that - his moral code. In a recent interview he talked about silencing the outside noise; I think he meant the stuff like radio play, adds, dates, data, numbers, info, etc... He has to tune them out in order to create music, and it's not easy and it's a process for him, to focus himself; and I love him for saying that and for doing that... Not many people do that. I can tell how intelligent he is from the sheer way he is able to focus: on music when he works, on an interviewer during the interview, on his audience when he sings, I presume on his lover when he makes love... He wants to do everything he does the best possible way he can... to feel and experience everything to the fullest degree. I've never known anyone like him and my husband always tells me that I'm seeking the impossible, a non-existant man who lives only in my mind and English literature, lol. But that's not true - Adam comes as close as no one else to my definition of a perfect man, in spite of all his imperfections. And he is very much alive and kicking. Adam is the evidence that I am not crazy. I have to go now. Kudos to all who managed to read my bs, can't you tell that I could go on and on and on... lol . Broken record. Not bs at all, Aleksandra I think we all respond to the "content of his character" that is evident from watching and listening to literally hundreds of interviews. We're not idealizing him. We are recognizing an element of humanity in him. He just displays true class in so many situations, and, as you say, a degree of morality. (Interesting that you use that word that is bandied about so much by people in "culture wars" in the U.S. The judgment and lack of tolerance and compassion and humanity is immoral to me, not so-called lifestyle "preferences," as though there was a moral choice involved. I think that's something everyone on this board agrees with as well, no matter our personal belief system.) Another thing I often wonder about are people who become enormously famous megastars. I would imagine it would be extraordinarily difficult not to turn into a complete ass, especially if it happens at an young age. Would I be anything but a complete brat if I had attained megastardom at 15? Is Bieber? Who knows? But I imagine all perspective would go out the window. I know that we've all wanted enormous fame for him, perhaps early on for a few as vindication because he didn't win Idol, but then that became such a small matter. Honestly, those of us in the beginning could only recognize the talent and sense the person behind it from how he accepted criticism, etc., but we didn't know the grace with which he would deal with situations because we had only heard a handful of interviews. Now we all want to see it recognized and rewarded, and I think that is why we are here. (And to realize there is a whole community that feels that way.) It would be interesting to see if enormous fame would change that, or at least our perception of him. Another thing about Adam is his transparency. Lady Gaga knows a thing or two about mythology and mystique. Adam understands that too, but I'm not sure he is capable of being self-aggrandizing and is naturally self-effacing, even though he is clearly aware of his talent. (Perhaps that is part of his theater training where even the people with the biggest roles were required to work in the chorus in middle school and high school. Perhaps it's his "CA hippie" upbringing. Perhaps it's just his nature.) He feels he needs to be honest. That is not to say Lady Gaga is not a good person, but there needs to be a disconnect between her and her "little monsters" when one is self-mythologizing. Oh, and about the spelling. I make my living making others' writing make sense. Some of the most brilliant people in the world cannot spell but express their ideas wonderfully. Some of the most brilliant people cannot form a coherent sentence but have amazing ideas they have difficulty expressing. It comes down to communication skills, and spelling ability and even advanced degrees are so often not even a factor in that. OK, have I exceeded your word count yet with my rambling, Aleksandra? ;D Speaking of character and ability to communicate, you have it in spades. ETA: I posted this before I could read other responses. Have I wondered into the Moon Garden Lounge by accident? Now off to read others' posts.

mszue, you are quite right about our culture's love/hate relationship with the intellectual.
Shhhhh .... Adam already has to cope with being gay and Jewish. If people found out he was smart too ... well, let's just say no wonder those kids didn't sit with him in the lunchroom. He's hopeless!
