Mys*&@^#r and Lynne, How great that you went to the UHH concert and got to see Adam as a bonus! Glad to hear UHH was good live. I like their album and wanted to see them in SF, but had a conflict and couldn't go. Thanks for the recaps. Adam looked great in the photos from the event! Loved the hair-fixing. Love that he goes to events to support (and goof around with) his friends. #goodfriend peace&love My husband and my two oldest children have been very supportive of my *enthusiasm* for Adam and for all the fun and enjoyment and adventures he brings my way. My youngest, however, has metaphorically rolled his eyes beneath his outwardly polite exterior when he is home from college at times and he sees me online "lamberting" as he has sometimes called it. He started changing his tune a bit when his older brother, who he idolizes/competes with in the very best of brotherly ways, LOL, said one night out of the blue when we were all together that he thinks my online proclivities are cool and progressive, his exact words. Well, the other day, I mentioned to him that I thought he would like the music of the son of one of the people who posts on "my board" and brought up The Dodos. My youngest started laughing and told me that he knows that band and already listens to their music. In about the next second, he decided my Adam board was cool.  So thanks, nonotmeto you, and to the Dodos, I am now fully redeemed in the eyes of my indie music loving son. I have been listening and really enjoying their music myself. |
