Lazaro is going to outlast all the other guys at the least. He's the only one with star quality which for me really showed in the boys group singing tonight. Maybe I'm suckered in but Charlie for example did nothing for me. There is something very throw back about him, very Desi Arnez. I like the sound of his voice. There might be some sympathy vote but for myself that's not what I hear.
I don't think Paul Jolley cab sing like crap and I've only heard one song where I wasn't wincing the whole song. Seems like a nice guy, hurts my ears.
When I watch the show I think that Lazaro is getting bused, especially by Ivine whom I've dislike with a passion all three years. He's only behind Angie on twitter followers and I think they're scared he might pull a Phillip Phillips.
So I like the kid's singing, I don't know if outside of singing if he is at all strong enough to handle everything and I'm thinking an up tempo song might be a disaster but as far as the competition goes he's at least top 5 and he has a decent chance of making it to the final.

Well, Paul Jolley went home and that's fine with me. He always seemed a bit tepid and had that "deer caught in the headlights" look. And his singing, for me, was just okay.

It was nice seeing Jessica Sanchez last night -- looks like she's enjoying her success. AI can make dreams come true!

So, once again Lazaro is behind the beat and does not know the lyrics, only this time instead of bringing himself down, he messes up their group number. Sorry, jablea, but he is in way over his head and doesn't come close to the talent required for Top 10, IMO. He needs to go tonight (should have gone last week.) But since his "courage" seems to be getting him the votes, I predict it will be Burnell gone. In saying he "wasn't going to throw anyone under the bus," he did just that. And the Idol voters will be unforgiving of that. :(

I know Lazaro should go but when I think back to last night, I found myself smiling the whole time Lazaro was singing "For One in My Life" and Burnell does nothing for me, so I don't mind if Lazaro stays one more week (but that's all!).
Mys*&@^#r, I have a question about the posters I see in the audience. Are those made by real fans? Handed out by the show? Do people with posters get seated in certain places?

I think Amber, Devin, and Janelle will be in the bottom three I'm betting with Amber going home. I listened to her song again still didn't think much of it and not a tour d'force ala Mariah.
mys*&@^#r50, I agree that Lazaro is way over his head but that didn't stop Lee Dewyze or Susan Boyle. He's 2nd in twitter followers behind Angie. I like his voice, I think his show boating poses are a crackup. But he's Richie Valens, ok not Richie but Lou Diamond Phillips.

I'm sorry that Devin went before Burnell. I was not surprised that the judges did not save him despite his great rendition of "It's Impossible".

I picked the bottom 3 to be the 3 guys. I was hoping for Lazaro to go finally but it was IMO the best male singer. If any of the girls go before Lazaro I'm going to chuck something at the TV.  |

Not watching. No Adam. Adam broke it. But, I have been checking to see who is in danger and who goes home every week. It feels so manipulated to me. I didn't like the fact that WGWGs won every year thanks to teenage girls voting thousands of times for their fantasy boyfriends, and moms of teenage girls voting for a safe, comfortable fantasy boyfriend for their daughters or, boy-next-door, reminds-me-of-my-nephew, cute as a button guys. But, to eliminate the option of a WGWG, and purposely weight the "talent" toward the girls seems so phony to me. So glad that Adam is not on the judging panel. |
