In the footage, obtained by TMZ, Nicki is clearly furious ... shouting, "I told them, I'm not f*ckin' putting up with her f*ckin' highness over there." Sources say Nicki later threatened to "knock out" Mariah ... but that part wasn't captured on tape. It all went down while the two were sitting at the judge's table ... with Keith Urban sitting in between them and Randy Jackson sitting on the far end, next to Mariah. We're told the whole thing exploded over a disagreement about a contestant's performance. According to our friends at MouthToEars.com, producers ended the auditions for the day so the two judges could cool down. Big wigs on the show seem uncharacteristically upset by the blow up -- it appears this was no joke and it seems producers are worried about Mariah and Nicki co-existing for the long haul. Anyone else breathing a HUGE sigh of relief that Adam is not the one sitting between these two divas? The Universe seems to take care of Adam, and I think it did with the Idol judging issue. Don't care how much visibility it would have given him. The idea of him having to deal with this sh!t makes me shudder. I'd much rather watch him on The Voice in China, and I bet he feels the same way.

Could be manufactured and fed to TMZ as pre-season PR even though AI has no intention of showing the actual footage themselves.
Either way, I'm also glad Adam isn't involved in the drama. The Voice China was a real gift. May it keep on giving.

Yes, I am glad that Adam is not there. Poor Keith and especially, poor contestants this year because even if the feuding never completely materializes after the auditions and the ratings go up because people are watching to see a train wreck, it will still be all about the judges and the contestants will be lucky to get a little bit of media coverage.

LMAO! I'm sure it wasn't staged. But, I am also sure Idol/Nigel will milk it for all it's worth..... until Mariah threatens to walk and they have to let Minaj go. I guess now we know why Randy is there! Seriously, what did the producers and FOX expect?! Had they not seen her twitter rants?! Karma is a bitch, Idol!!
Wouldn't it be funny if they have to replace her by the live shows? Because the shows really are live to 2 timezones! Something like this can not happen!

Yes, I think Adam is well out of this. He is just is just too darn beautiful, talented, smart and charming to be stuck between those two divas. I do feel sorry for Keith but I can't help but feeling a little schadenfreude for the powers that be at AI if this causes them problems. I sometimes wonder if one of the issues in Adam not getting the job was that he would have outshone the rest of the panel, like he did in those pics with Paris Hilton. Just a thought.

While I think Adam really take the job seriously. |

I don't think it even matters whether this was planned or not. I would not want Adam to be put in that position where he would need to try and deal with Mariah and Nicki, whether they were arguing for the show or for real. I think it would be most likely a losing situation for him, and not a fun job at all. He was so amazing in The Voice in China, I much rather would see him mentoring than judging, if he could really BE a mentor. AI really feels like a sinking ship.
