Ksha518: I dont want to meet Adam either. In part because I am stll not comfortable with the reality of being a crazy fan girl, and also because I am somewhat afraid of loosing the image that I have of him in my mind. It just couldnt be better. I have no fear that he doesnt live up to expectations, its just that I feel I know him enough already. Far more than spending a few second with him signing a cd could tell me. I wouldnt want to pose for a picture with him cause I know where to find all the pics I need. I would feel like it was a waste of time to be not facing him anyway. The only desire I have to meet him is to thank him for all he has given me, but I could never get that a cross in a few moments, in a way that gives it more validity than being in an assembly line of fans would allow. We all set the boundaries of our relationship with him and they are all fine. I think if you have the desire to see him though, there is no way he will let you down. I am really really wishing I wasnt stuck in the heartland and could go to this funraising cocert. It just seems right to not only get to see him sing but also to show my support of his very important cause. Wish I could be there more than usual!!! Cassie. Thank you for the quote. I"ve read the thread and I just have to come back to this. kay and ksha18 - - - Meeting Adam did not destroy the image - it made it more real. Honestly, I can hardly remember hugging Adam. I remember telling him I had to look at his 'eyes baby eyes' . . . then I told him not to hold back if he saw white-haired me rocking out in the front . . . and he laughed and said "I never hold back!". I was at the back of the M&G line. Silly me . . . I thought it was a disadvantage. I left my place in line and walked up the side of the corridor, towards the front, where Adam was talking and hugging and posing and receiving gifts. I just watched - from about 20 feet away, for over 30 minutes, as all these adoring people met him. Oh, the love, the honesty, the surprise! Adam is spectacularly beautiful. I forgot to breathe. He is tinier in flip-flops. His arms are so long and graceful. He has gentle hands. His movements are articulate and sometimes even delicate. He only cared about the person he was meeting at the moment. Total focus. His eyes are neon, I swear. One time Neil left his photographer's post and came to smooth a cowlick on the back of Adam's head. Adam didn't even notice - his focus remained on the fan - so respectful. His words and demeanor were of happiness, patience and honor. Signed everything - paid attention to everyone. He was honored to be so loved. I felt it. Overwhelmingly, I knew I was before an icon - I wanted to tell him - make him pay attention and realize! He would have nothing of it. He said "You people know more about my performances than I do!" He always moves forward. No past. He loves fashion, as we know! Commented on the shoes of a demure young woman. As I was telling him about - something - I can't remember! - he picked up my light, lace shawl - black with small blue rosebuds - and said "I love this!". That's when I lost my train of thought . . . wanting to remove the shawl and put it over his head! At the same time, I tried to prevent my abandoned self from doing so. I wanted to bow at his feet. Yes, I did. All I can say is - your dream of Adam is not a dream. The reality only expands imagination, imagery, mindscape. Adam is "Imagination turned to love". Once there was a song - and my mother, a pianist, used to play it. Oh, how I would love to hear Adam sing "Imagination". |

I think he may have had a chance of not being recognized if it wasnt for those "movie star glasses" he' s wearing inside. He looks great in such casual clothes!

Help whack a mole at 99.9 Virgin Canada! I put WWFM and IIHY on the list (they don't have any other songs by Adam), and it went to #2, but fell.. The DJ just mentioned that 2 of Adam Lambert's songs are on the list but just can't make it to #1.. Anyone up for showing them? toronto.virginradio.ca/TOTakeover/ |

yo @ziamp, @adamlambert IS in the list. #TOtakeover I went to their takeover link toronto.virginradio.ca/TOTakeover/ but couldn't find Adam anywhere. I've never heard Adam songs played on this station, but when he came to Toronto, they ran after him to interview him and posted on their website. They had NCOE on their new music on demand site before, but never played it on air. They seemed to use him for hits to their site only. Do you think their tweet means they have just added Adam's name on their takeover list and it will show up on a later day, or they just lied to get hits again? WWFM and IIHY are on the list and near the top. |

Is it the possible brown hair?
Looking at all the "historical pix" over the last few days, I've realized that I missed the brown hair. I really think my absolute favorite hair color for him is a sable brown. It looks best with his coloring. The black is awesome and rock-n-roll and the silver is totally cool (both temperature and attitude), but I'm ready for brown!
