Yes, the announcement was made on Adam's weibo:
There're 4 lucky winning entries; the first one is a pro, the 2nd one studied music & voice in college, and the latter 2 are just lucky fans with a good voice, I guess.

From what I gather on weibo, the exact m&g date hasn't been revealed, yet, but the winners are getting an all-expense-paid trip to Shanghai! |

So, I have a friend who's an opera singer (like Angelina, lol). She lives in Vienna. I showed her the vid of Adam singing Soaked (the one from the Glam Nation Live DVD). She literally said: "He's trained, it shows. Damn, what a voice! Wow!" And the she said: "But what's with the make up and the clothes? It's off putting." And I was like:  But hell, I'm happy. She was impressed with his voice. In a recent chat with her I said, "That rendition of that song could get a standing ovation on Broadway - hell the Met -- any day of the week" and she agreed wholeheartedly. Yes, she is a Glambert and therefore not totally objective, but.... damn! What a performance! |

I agree about Ben Folds, and I'd say "Zak and Sara" is a good starting point. I'd add that if you can pull off rock, Adam Lambert's catalogue is a gold mine.More on site... ("catalogue" in music means a collection of songs. i.e. "Because Adam is a high tenor with great power, his voice is perfect for Queen's catalogue." |

;D ), anyway, Adam is supposed to sharing the stage with the eventual winner of the Voice China at the end of the show. I highly doubt that Adam will sing in Chinese, although that would delight & charm the pants off the entire nation; from what I gather, all the finalists are capable of singing in English so maybe whoever the winner is might just get to harmonize here and there, or sing a couple of lines with Adam. It's a brilliant set-up and TV gold for the Chinese viewers, if it really happens.
