I made a new Adam fan today! I'm having the interior of my house painted this week. Finally got my computer hooked up today. The stereo is still disconnected. Anyway, I've been talking to Sebastian, (30 hear old really cool guy) all week about a bunch of things including music. I decided to blast Trespassing today. I passed through the living room and he said "Who IS this? I really like him!" I preceded to tell him about Adam. As it played, I even caught him singing along, even though he had never heard the songs before! When it was over, he asked me what the album title was, wrote it down and said he was going to download it when he got home. So then, of course I played FYE and he asked for the title and wrote that down too! He knew WWFM and sang along. He could not believe that he has never heard any other Adam song on the radio. Asked whether Trespassing was new and if a single had been released yet. He loved Trespassing, the song, and said that radio really needs to get behind it because people would love it! And he said SFW should be a sports team anthem song! I've been saying that since the first time I heard it. I am now a little in love with Sebastian. Dude has great taste in music! awww, sweet story. Thanks for sharing. I wish there are more dudes like him :Clap: |

Now seriously, EVERYONE who hears Trespassing says the album is great. This album deserves more attention from the biz, that's for sure. |

A big thank you to wal for bringing over @glam_alidol's twats & vids!! so everybody can enjoy them (weibo isn't for everyone, nor twitter).
@glam_alidol is a truly passionate and hard-working glambert. We were chatting on weibo last night and he said he's kinda busy assisting some fan activities as part of Adam's Shanghai agenda, and he's not going to the airport but he would tweet if he had time. Guess what? he twitted up a storm! Thank you, @alidol!!

I love Zhang Wei!!!
His Chinese song morphed into 'Bad' and 'Black and White' was great. ACIGC was well done, there was a soul in it - until the uncontrolled and screeching end note. 'My way' had really nice colour in the low parts, unfortunately the latter part of the song was too weird due to very thin voice in the high parts - also I think more depth and experience would be needed to do that song well. However, he is a performer and entertainer and has a good voice. Nice smile and 'i'm having fun' attitude will work in his favour. A bit more training to handle the control of his voice would do him good but even with the skill he has now, he will do very well when he chooses right songs.
I presume other contestants are talented, too. China is so big that it takes a lot to come this far. In that light it might not matter much with whom Adam will sing. And for Adam, the exposure from the finale will be great. He might need to do some concerts later - it might gather large audiences when they get to know him there.

Great idea to collect 'best of GNT'! Unfortunately, I need to resist watching them before it's done. There are great videos from wednesday that I need to see and this China thing happening right now. But I'm sure you'll present many great GNT's that I have not seen and it feels like waiting for Christmas.  |
