You know, it makes me feel good to see him so loved and respected in these other countries . If he ends up having to go the international route I'm kind of OK with it. Maybe it's just going to take longer in the US. All I really care about is that he keeps his major label deal. I remember talking with my oldest son about the radio play situation here for Adam after AI and he said, back then, that he felt Adam would probably have to make it big internationally first before the US would acknowledge that he is a star. Seems like he was right on this. Well....you go get the WORLD Adam!! 8-) I live in a big music town. Basically there are live shows with big name artists almost every night ... these artists may draw only a handful at some honky-tonk here, and then go on the road to another state or Europe and draw huge crowds. As the Bible says, Only in his own hometown is a prophet without honor. People are just spoiled. It seems to be human nature to be wasteful of what seems abundant, unfortunately. Even talent.

..... I just had to comment so I could post this picture again....look at the body guard looking at AFL. Who can blame him. He even cleaned up a little bit for the event. I was thinking in the airport pics that Adam should give him a makeover. I agree with the makeover - but the guy is not a bodyguard, he is his manager, Dana Collins. ETA ... even only haircut at shorter intervals would be appreciated

Okay, I thought about that after I wrote it. I'll remember his name next time. Thanks. ( based on his size, I bet he does double duty though)

The discussion this morning makes me think of Clint Eastwood and his path to stardom
A Fistful of Dollars, The film's success made Eastwood a major star in Italy and he was re-hired to star in For a Few Dollars More (The Good, the Bad and the Ugly) The New York Times said The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (now widely considered one of the finest films in the history of cinema, was "the most expensive, pious and repellent movie in the history of its peculiar genre"
A path that Adam seems to be taking! If Americans are considered “cool” by other countries perhaps we need to have them make Adam “cool” for us. Ever notice how many commercials have narrators with foreign accents. English predominantly?
