WOOT!! China loves Adam! 'I ain't got no dress in my bag...'  Best edit EVAH..I heard lots of laughter..the Chinese knew the words. Thanks to all who posted vids, pics anything Adam and China-related. Did not have time to follow closely, but you provided everything. I am so happy and grateful. I actually liked the fact that Adam's voice was so prominent during TP..not many artists IMO could have knocked that one out of the stadium with the mix we heard. The duet was very fine and Adam gracious as usual allowing this young man his time in the spotlight. What a fantastic trip for Adam! Thanks again, everyone! :Clap: :Clap: :Clap: |

I am curious about something. I watch the tweets scroll by and almost all are in Chinese....I have only seen 2 myself that were in English and both were really nasty. One was "Voice of China makes me puke" and the other was "Voc sucks".....are the Chinese tweets just as nasty or is this a 'western' phenomenon? pretty sad..... I think, from what glam-idol has said the tweets are overwhelmingly positive! The tweets in English might be the best proof we've ever had that FOOS do indeed comment on Adam things! >:( What is FOOS?? ??? ??? W |

Thank you for the "dry-wet feed" info. Very interesting and a help in understanding why Adam's voice sounds so special and effortless; we know it took years of training. Most of the music being played on the radio sounds so flat (meaning not full not meaning off key). Don't understand why everyone (DJ's, PD's) can't appreciate what an amazing voice Adam has.

I see a few people taking what I said in a previous post in a different light, here is the original post:

I said it in yesterday's thread that very few foreign acts or artists could really make a grand impression on the national scale in China, I forgot to point out one of the main reasons was because of the Chinese Ministry of Culture. This is why that Modonna has never had concerts in China, MJ wasn't banned but the chance never materialized. And, no Pop diva from today's music landscape has had concerts in China, many of their songs are on the "black list". Interestingly, Elton John has been very welcome in China. He'll have a concert in Shanghai in Nov. then Hong Kong, his last concert in China was 8 years ago. Maroon 5 just had their very first concert in China on Sept 25th, so our Adam won't be the first major American entertainer to have concerts in China, however, he'll be the first to perform on Chinese National TV, on the most popular program at that. There're other foreign acts before him though: Avril and Shakira, who have also appeared on Chinese TV before.

The Voice is the most popular reality TV show in China, but they asked Adam Lambert, runner up from American Idol. They didn't ask the two winners of the Voice USA and they didn't ask one of the judges... or if they want someone from AI, they didn't ask the winner of American Idol... either Adam's season or S12 .. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D |

I wonder if she gets similar tweets from fans of the other artists she works with. If so, her feed must be crazy! I don't think she does. Sometimes I get a little embarrassed on behalf of the fandom. Seriously, they should leave her alone... Tweet her if there's something interesting going on, but she's not a liason between Adam and the fans. She's Adam's PR, his employee. Ummmm some of the Britney fans are just as "passionate". Note: But I think the Adam fans in her feed are the reason for that tweet. |

W Fans/Friends of others  Could it be that Adam was invited because he was a finalists Idol? and so it was requested that he sing with the contestant. And then because he was cleared other promo worked in around it? *back to lurkdom* |
