*sneeks into thread* *looks around furtively* Damn, Q3, I know you were joking (dammit) but I swear that Errol Flynn Robin Hood was my FAVORITE MOVIE when I was little (I know, I'm like 103, not 31). Yes it was hokey and campy and ridic, but damn that man had charm! (By the way, a few choice Errol Flynn quotes: “I had now made about 45 pictures, but what had I become? I knew all too well: a phallic symbol. All over the world I was, as a name and personality, equated with sex.” “The public has always expected me to be a playboy, and a decent chap never lets his public down.”) LOL, midwifespal... Errol Flynn's Robin Hood was the most campy lulz-worthy version EVAH!!! Congratulations on your first anniversary!! Man, it just seems like yesterday you were making wedding plans... HAVE FUN AT THE SCISSOR SISTERS!!!

How about a re-make of Wuthering Heights? We already know that Adam can do "dark 'n dirty-grimy-angsty" really well from his TFM vid!!! I mean, just look at this angsty mofo!!! OMG get out of my head!!!! This is my sekrit dream, and yeah, I know it's not a singing role, but my heart yearns to see Adam as a fierce badass angsty mofo with a romantic heart--- UNF!!!! Also a couple of us were speculating on the idea of Adam as Mr. Rochester in Jane Eyre. A definitive film of that book has not yet been made, IMO. He's too young right now, but in 10 or 15 years... :D But on a more realistic note-- I am very firmly on the bandwagon of the JCS role, in a modern-day version. Kind of along the lines of the modernized take of the story in Romeo+Juliet a while back with DiCaprio. Please, Universe!!!

Q3... I love your movie suggestions!! Have mixed feelings about GNAFL doing Freddie. The voice would be perfect... better than Freddie's... but DNW to see AFL with buck teeth and a thick mat of black chest hair. *shudders* I do not think they look much alike -- and ITA about the teeth. Shudder at the thought. But Adam doesn't not look like Freddy either -- think about J.Lo-Selena, Joaquin Phoenix-Johnny Cash, Sissy Spacek-Loretta Lynn -- you do not need to look exactly like the person to play them. IMO Adam is much better looking but so was everyone listed above. And stage presentation ---- Adam could nail: Is there another pop star who can descend down Freddie's white staircase, strut on stage with a cane, and grab a stadium audience with his powerful vocals. And who else could rock the crown and cape with authority? If the story is mostly about the private Freddie -- then I say no to Adam. but if the story is as currently described about the rise of Freddie as as superstar and focus mainly on the music and performances. I say Adam could nail it.

Hello to all the lovely Atopians. My computer skills are not great so I will be primarily "lurking" (maybe someday I will learn how to post pics, etc.) I am posting today as I don't recall anyone ever mentioning that Disney purchased the Queen songbook a number of years ago. I don't recall which movie studio is making the movie about Freddie. I am a big Adam fan ... he is simplicity and complexity in artistry and humanity ... a gift ... Oh, hey... WELCOME, LAS!!!Don't be a stranger! And there are lots of peeps who can help you with picture posting and everything else, so don't be shy!! Many of us have spent time hanging out in the practice thread, experimenting with stuff!!!

Love the idea of Adam as Heathcliff. Excellent recommendation. Could be the best one so far. Gothic, mysterious, incredible sexy. And that film is due for a great remake. Ummm.... You really need an invite? Ha! It will be a snowy day in Ohio before I send that. (Yipes, it did snow here last week! Twice! I forgot!)
