A few suggestions.... 1. Twitter -- make sure that your Twitter Geolocation is turned off. Instructions here: support.twitter.com/forums/26810/entries/78525#2. Twitter and Facebook: remove any geographic reference from your profile or User ID. 3. Facebook: Block your location on your Facebook account: www.troublefixers.com/hide-your-geo-location-on-facebook/I recommend setting up accounts solely for requesting and keeping them "clean" of any location info. Your Web IP Address is associated with a Mediabase or Radio Station Website request. You should use these request methods for your local station, Z100 and Q102. Only request by phone if you are local. And only do it if the radio station wants phone requests. Many stations do not want phone requests. |

I'm sorry but I have big problem with this kind of "fanart". IMHO this is not fanart but not so good Photoshop work that only trying to ruin the original work of art - in this case one of the Louis Royo's great drawings. ;D I have no idea who Louis Royo is ( I feel that I should, shouldn't I ) I thought the pic looked cool, Adam reminded me of Heathcliff there, romantic hero, ... or anti-hero, for Halloween, lol ( Bronte's, not Atop's Heathcliff) But I'm Adumb, so... You want me to delete it? |

On the Brian May vs. Jimi Hendrix poll -- I want to vote for both. And therefore I have to pass on this one.
But I would trade an Adam-Bowie duet for an Adam-Hendrix duet. Why? Because I can imagine what a Adam-Bowie duet would be like since there are several Bowie duets including with Freddie, Bing Crosby and Cher. I cannot imagine the space music that Adam and Hendrix would create.
But I am pretty sure that Adam would pick Bowie....here's a fan-made "duet' of Fame:

If I remember correctly, I think the shows host namechecked Adam and then Nile went on and talked about playing on Adam's song. I was so happy to see Adam being brought up since they were talking about all the big names Nile has worked with in the past! 8-) This was a panel discussion at an advertising industry event. I just listened to it. Interesting discussion. Adam is mention starts around 17.00 The panel moderator mentions Adam first but says that Nile told him about it. "I know you are doing something now with Adam Lambert. Do you want to tell us about what you are doing with Adam?" So the reference was prompted by Nile. Nile talks about the connection between Nile and Sam Sparro to Adam. Nile talks a bit about American Idol, too. But nothing that he hasn't said before here. Q3, but the big thing is "the panel moderator" you mention is the CEO of one of the biggest advertising firms in the WORLD. My interest in this isn't about Nile, in fact as a Glambert I was a bit miffed, but the firm's twitter made an immediate tweet mentioning Adam, the CEO/moderator has written about him as well as specifically bringing his name up in the conversation. He's on their radar. I did learn a lot about Nile that I didn't know. |

I'm not going to tell you what you should do with it, I just wanted to say that people who do this kind of thing should think twice before they open Photoshop a do something like that. Go and try find Royo's drawings - he is one of the greatest fantasy artists. You won't be disappointed. I find it so interesting that Gangnam by PSy, the Korean singer is going viral and being played on Top40 all over the world. If you listen to it is is Eurotechno from the 90's. Top40 wants something different and that's why songs that are different are making it.
If we could get the radio PD's bias, Adam would make it cause he is so different, and so is the sound.
