It only takes that long if you are totally unfamiliar with most of the songs. It's been a while, but I swear I have done it in 10 or 15 minutes. But I have little kids, and we listen to a lot of pop music. Really, faster? I don't know how to do that. It just plays a snippet of a song, then you rate it. I don't know how to cut the songs short and get through it faster. Do tell, because I'd like to rush through a lot of the songs. You have to add comments as well or it won't go to the next song. ETA: Oh, I see we are talking about different things. ;D I can't do it, not even for Adam. It takes way too long! :(

First time hearing Skyfall, I think it's great. Not a huge Adele fan except for Chasing Pavements but I think she sounds amazing here and it's a good song. For me, her voice is the only thing that saves the song. I am not just bashing artists who are not Adam because I f*ckin love KESHA's song!!

She does sound great on the song but it is a very repetitive song and when a repetitive song is played x3 times in one hour (happens in top 40 U.S. stations) even if the voice of the singer is soothing as Adelle's voice IMO it becomes a bit of a torture... The same goes for any other extremely high rotation song (tolerance will be lower for annoying voices).

The song has potential, but it seems like it should be a huge power ballad like TFM. I can imagine Adam singing the hell out of it. Adele's voice sounds good, but not much power or build up, vocally. But, hey, what do I know?

But almost stopped to listen the radio because of "Someone like you". It's beautiful song but so boring. I haven't heard the Bond song yet, but all others have been good, so I have hopes high

His ad agency is huge! I don't care if it's just a rumor that Niles is involved in the branding or if he really is. The big news out of this is commercial potential for Adam. We've always wondered when he was going to sign up for corporate sponsorships or get music featured on commercials. This is the CEO of a worldwide ad agency that does exactly that. I think mys*&@^#r's wondering if Nile and Adam is doing another work together again beside Shady.

I know Bowie's been sick and hasn't performed in a very long time...but...I dream.

Sounds like you're talking about other idols who's during the competition always copying someone's style of singing... a copy cat. ;D And the world knows Adam Lambert is not a copycat, the rock clasic fans and world already admitted it that during & after Queen concerts Adam is his own entity and not trying to copying Freddie. Anyway, I've never heard about such interview or even if it's exist. Now I know there's one TV interview on his homecoming in San Diego. One TV reporter asked Adam about his phyton shoes and when he's going to sing Queen songs on Idol stage. Adam heard and knew about people comparing him to Freddie and he told the reporter that the reason why he hasn't sang Queen song yet was because he had to make the song his own coz he didn't want to sounds alike. So, IMO if Adam's studying someone's voice it's not to make it sounds alike or duplicate or copying them, he is studying it from the technical point of view .. how they created the voice and how he can do it with his own style. His own rock voice with classical touch ;D It's out there. Adam has talked about how when he was young he would listen to artists and try to copy their sounds---it was one of the ways he "learned" to hit those high notes. There is nothing wrong with this. He was young, having fun, and learning. Neil also talked about it once---long ago---on his blog. Adamme, I must not have explained myself very well (was way too tired) because you have totally misunderstood what I was trying to get at. Thanks to Bullsfan for adding clarity to my ramblings. To further clarify, listening to a whole QAL concert it is very obvious that Adam has his own style and sounds very different than Freddie. WWTLF is a prime example of this. But on the one song where Adam does a duet with Freddie he blends his voice so beautifully with Freddie's. Some folks here have even commented that in the last part of the song it is sometimes difficult to tell which one is singing. (I suspect is was much easier to tell at the concert. Recording are not exact replicas of the sound.) My point is that Adam could make his voice blend so well with Freddie's on the one song where he really needed to do that for the sake of the artistry of that particular performance. He could do this so easily because he had spent time (in his younger years) figuring out how Freddie made his vocal sounds and how he could make is voice produce the same kind of sounds. This was part of how he learned to make the vocal sounds of a rock singer but with the added technique of a classically trained singer. And all that experimenting with trying to duplicate other singers (in his earlier years) has really paid off in Adam's ability to create so many unique sounds now that very few others, if any, can duplicate.
