This particular radio station played the crap put of NCOE! It was the top spinner for quite sometime This station has played Adam almost every night since BTIKM premiered. Some nights they make us really work for it but gotta say that they play Adam waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more than my lame radio station so I'm more than happy to give them the hits. ITA!!

I'm not! Opening for a band like Nickelback over in Europe was great exposure for Daughtry. Co-headlining is smart if you want to reach outside of the same stan base from AI and play to venues larger than 1,000-2,000 people. It can end up being a positive experience for the artists and "two for the price of one" can bring in a lot more casual fans than a solo tour. Kelly Clarkson just finished a co-headling tour with The Fray. It didn't hurt her in any way. Jlo and Enrique had a co-headlining tour. Most artists and groups are struggling to play the bigger venues. Artists are having to do things like co-headlining to attract buyers. Would there be an opening act for a concert with two headliners? ..cause for very selfish reasons I can't stand the idea of going to Adam's concert and having to live through TWO other acts... it was bad enough with just one non-Adam... I also don't understand how would it be better earnings wise - you can book a larger venue but you also have to split the revenue.... There is absolutely no proof, that I know of, that says co headlining or opening for a bigger act brings in more new fans. It didn't work for Kris or David Cook. Didn't work Orianthi, for that matter. Worked to get Jordin lots of followers on Twitter but sure didn't work for her last album or single. Q3, has said that the most cost effective and revenue earning tours play in mid size venues. 3-5,000. Adam shouldn't have any trouble filling up venues of that size. I am picturing the official tour being in venues very similar to Glam Nation. Oh, and Daughtry has to tour with someone else because he has had trouble selling tickets this time around. I like the guy, even though I don't like his music. It has to be hard to go from 5million albums 6 years ago, to just making Gold (I think he did.) His sales for album #2 (and singles) and album # 3 are just slightly ahead of Adam's. Plus, it's been out for almost a year. ETA: Just read at MJ's that Daughtry is doing a one month co-tour with 3 Doors Down, mid Nov to mid Dec. Looks like the venue sizes run between 4,000 - 7,000

Tiptoed into numbers...no adds today? I am shocked. :-/
What did enter my mind is that if radio is going to putts around with TP, I could see strategy heading toward live performances..either TV, Jingleballs, one-offs, whatever...AND I think a tour will now come sooner than later. That is where Adam truly shines. Live. On stage and dynamic.
I agree that it might not make a hill of beans difference to stations what fans ask for. Radio might not be Adam's route. Maybe he'll break the mold.
To me this is NOT bad news and I know we are early on. But I'm not counting on radio for anything. Saves on Advil..

It also works for Daughtry in the beginning but not for some (Cook & Kris). I know Adam said he wants to do Arena this time, but I guess it depends whether or not he has a hit single. Whatever happen, I'm going to support whatever Adam decides to do. If he wants to do co-headline this time, I will be there and if not I will be there. The big question is who wants to stand on that stage after Adam, ONLY the divas. BUT, will they do it though? ;D ;D ;D ;D

The only reason I care about fuckin US radio is because he wants it! It broke my heart today, after all his tweets & Ashley & Keisha's, to have zero adds!

I'm not trying to be a cold-hearted bitch for sure. I want this for Adam too but Adam may be a blazing a new trail which is not obvious at this point to anyone. Zero adds sucked. I wonder what would happen if we didn't whack one night like Holst suggested. Do we have any say in radio or is everything manipulated? Much is up for question right now and I for one dislike feeling that I am at the mercy of anything, so radio really gets my craw.. I love Adam too..never doubt it, bb.

The most profitable venues are generally theaters and amphitheaters -- so upper end of capacity could be >5K. Every artist is different, for Adam I can't think of one artist that he could co-tour with who would build Adam's fanbase. Generally, for an unknown act, opening is great. Adam is not an unknown act and he is a headliner. ** On the Jingleball concert.... Adam is not opening for One Republic -- they are listed alphabetically. Performance order is not known but they have equal billing.
