Annietoo, hi! His name is Álex Forriols. I hadn't seen that Fever performance until last week, when Dyg (the other Atoper from Spain) sent the performance to me. This is the performance, if anyone is interested: When I saw it, I told Dyg: "I don't think this could have aired in the States as part of an Idol performance". Those dance moves with the male dancers...  He was a contestant in our last Operación Triunfo (which is kind of our Idol, but also very different). But that year they cancelled the show because of a sever lack of audience, so they cut the competition short. Wow, so much to catch up on after being off the grid for over 2 weeks.
Loved the Voice of China performance Adam did, and very cool that he was asked to be on their Finale show.
I missed the RoveLA show last night, have any YT appeared yet?
In other news, I finally got my Fault Magazine of Adam, and I have an extra, if anyone is interested, please pm me.
Since I am just back from London, let me share what I learnt accross the pond.
Regarding the possible/probable angst over adds............
Keep calm and carry on.

Trespassing is impacting radio today....since Adam's music usually struggles to get adds, I am not expecting a lot of adds this week and will be happy with 2 more US HAC stations. In the US, the first stations to report will be the 86 monitored HAC Stations. Here is where Trespassing stands: Trespassing already has 6 adds. US Hot AC Adds Station Spins LW Market Market Rank WTMX-FM * 7 Chicago 3 KDMX-FM 8 Dallas 5 KWYE-FM 8 Fresno 67 KPEK-FM 1 Albuquerque 68 KCIX-FM 8 Boise, ID 101 WCDA-FM 4 Lexington, KY 103 23 HAC Stations have already reported today with no new adds for Trespassing. 57 HAC Stations that have NOT added Trespassing, have not reported yet. >> Bracing for long slog << To be perfectly honest, I am not expecting any adds today (so if he gets even one US add, I will be happy). There is a lot of really different stuff getting played these days (I just heard the new song by Fun already getting spins on WTMX). Trespassing fits as well as anything else out there. Maybe we should all send some positive vibes out there to the universe for Trespassing and radio ...Should we pick a certain time or times??It didn't work for world peace but it just might work for a hit song. I am sending out good vibrations right now!! |

If it doesn't get radio play, it's because it is a third single after two that didn't make it into the Top 10. TSP is starting off with a disadvantage. I'm prepared for TSP to be a "touring single" and for it to do better in some smaller countries outside of the US. I'm just happy he is even getting a third single and that RCA is supporting it with an adds date on any format. IMO, that bodes well for the future. |

It was more "fun" when we could watch the Ad Board & listen for the DINGS! Oh, I must have completely missed this. So there are no more DINGS during the day when an ADD comes in?? How do we know if it's added then? Do we find out at the end of the day?? Gotta say, I'm sad about this  . I don't follow the numbers much but I thought the DINGS were the best part! |

How do we know if it's added then? Do we find out at the end of the day?? Gotta say, I'm sad about this . I don't follow the numbers much but I thought the DINGS were the best part!
I can't access the Ad Board anymore. They now require a log in & password. I'm sure some ppl on here belong to the board & will get the information (stardust & others). But I liked following it myself. Btw - anyone know if RCA tweeted about Trespassing going for adds today? I haven't seen anything. |
