I agree! And RCA is not looking for the EP to do anything on the charts. I remember RCA ED talking about this. Remixes and EPs are geared to the fanbase. This is a way the label can make some money off the fans. RCA does not expect casual fans to be purchasing this. BUT, with all the versions of Trespassing, we could really boost Trespassing sales. I think that's what is important. Eta---I know Shoshanna is his UK person, but maybe she could weigh in on this? It does not matter in this case, because fan buying alone is enough to make the EP chart on the Billboard 200. The BB Hot 100 requires a huge sales number for a song that is not getting major airplay. Trespassing could sell 100,000 units and it would struggle to make the Top 30. [Recent example, P. Phillips "Home" sold 278,000 units and was #10 on the BB Hot 100.] But an EP charts on the BB 200 as an album -- and a debut album. With only 10,000 units it will be a Top 30 album. No radio component in this chart -- just sales. But does that mean we can't use all the Trespassing versions to boost the single later? I think that's the question. I think it's more important to sell the single, but maybe I'm wrong.

What if we buy the EP on Amazon and other retailers only and the songs on iTunes later on after PLL?

Hm. I just plan to buy the EP on iTunes.
I understand it's definitely not how everyone feels, but I don't do the multiple-buying thing. I feel Adam's popularity will continue to grow because of what he does, not what I do.
I say this just to "represent" that position, not to try to say anything else isn't perfectly valid for others.
ETA - not to be a contrarian or anything.

Well...it is basically true that US sales affect markets like the UK and Germany. It's also true that Adam doing Vegas shows at this point would be a joke. ;D I don't believe Adam is remotely close to that point or that he would ever be "relegated to Vegas". We aren't talking about your typical AI contestant that has been dropped and can't find another label here. Adam would go to something entirely different like Broadway or doing shows with Queen before he would do Vegas shows. I don't see the Vegas thing ever happening, or it being anything to even worry about. And I have no doubt that if he ever got dropped (unlikely) he would be snatched up by a major label, not an indie, but another major label! That's what I'm thinking too.. so I'm not really worry about it
