Hi, I am so glad you commented on this. The one house I was in, in Hollywood Hills had a steep, steep, steep, hill/and wall holding up the hill :-/ as the backyard?????? It was more like a walkway. I was actually thinking to myself, why would someone spend this kind of money to buy this house and during a major rain have all the dirt turn to mud and come down the hill towards my house???? Kevin rented the studio apartment in the house and really liked it there. The streets are so narrow two cars do not fit. Oh, the cool (????) part, the house next door to this one was once owned by Clark Gable. So if you own a house that was ONCE owned by Clark Gable it is worth having a mudslide the next time your have a weeks worth of rain. Like the week before Christmas, and that is exactly what happened. So why do folks want to spend big dollars to live in Hollywood Hills. mys*&@^#r50, what is the answer????????? Because it is so secluded and peeps have a lot of privacy. There is also a lot of history in them thar hills. I love you! Can we meet again sometime when I get more than a hug?

FWIW, my sister used to live in the HH next door to Anthony of the Red Hot Chili Peppers. What I noticed is that while it was fairly private, we could also see right into his backyard from my sister's. My impression was that while the houses may not be totally secluded from each other, the neighbors were very protective of each other, which was really nice. So a stranger really couldn't hang out without someone asking him/her a question to suss out whether they belonged. I suspect Adam's neighbors know exactly who/where he is, but are very discreet. Anyway, not to butt in, just thought I'd add. Love you all!

The views, the proximity to everything, the privacy. Yes, the views are stunning. Also the houses are unique, historic and often adorable (or breathtaking). Obviously, they don't have mudslides with every major rain as many of the houses date back to the 1940s. They're pretty damn sturdy. Not that there isn't a risk, but many of those homes have stood for 70 years with little or no incident. I'd say the bigger risk is in new construction.

Another new Charity Water donation. I love these. Vadamict - Adam's Vietnamese fan group $120 04.03.11 This is not a lot, because we are just a group of middle school to high school students... But it means all the love in the world from us Vietnamese fans to you Adam! Happy (belated) 29th birthday, we wish you all the best and we're still hoping for one day that you'll come to our country. Thank you for being you!!

I agree....That Supreme Master Ching Hai gal's organization seems unusual to say the least. I can't see AFL coming on board and adhering to their precepts ...all vegatarian, no booze or sexual misconduct, etc. LOL Perhaps they just believe that this charity is a worthwhile cause and chose to participate. Nothing to do with Adam "coming on board and adhering to their precepts..." Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.
