Revlisacat, I loved your post. What an amazing person you are. Did you guys see the tweet Adam just retweeted? Is 1031FreshFM an important radio station? Where is it from? bmoschetti DJ 1031freshfm just said that @adamlambert's #TRESP is THE MOST requested song & will probly b in TOP 10--called it a HUGE hit for Adam!!!!! Retweeted by Adam Lambert. This station is in Ontario, Canada in a town named London. I do not know if it is an important station, but it obviously has good taste. I am hoping that Canada give T some love. IMO to hear it is to love it. Somone on twitter said it is a big college town, so getting played and requested here is a big deal!

It's not about when the new day starts. 12 noon is when the sun is directly overhead. You can see from the Latin terms that the division is about the Middle of the day not the end. AM is before middle, PM is after middle. It would make even less sense if 12:00 was AM and 12:01 was PM. But why can't they call the time when the sun is directly overhead "1:00"?Because the term noon or midday for when the sun is directly overhead predates the numbering on the clock. When you start with the mark for "noon" and count forward the first hour after noon would naturally be "1". Sun dials were in use long before numbered clocks with simple marks for the different portions of the day. Numbers came later but however many pieces you divide the pie in if you start at midday and count forward "1" is always the first mark "after" midday.

Great interview although it always cracks me up when he says the US interviews focus on gay and he is in the middle of an interview that is 100% about being gay!

Yes, but what a difference in tone though. This woman says that she hopes to do a longer interview in the future - I really hope she does.
