Also, the Trespassing EP did not make the BB200 album chart. I guess the combination of efforts to buy individual tracks and the delayed shipping of the CD from the myplaydirect store depressed sales a bit. As a point of comparison, Kelly Clarkson's Stronger was #153, and according to Brian Mansfield, it sold only 3,000 copies last week. So, the Trespassing EP sold something south of that number.

Numbers summary for today. As usual TV appearances also seem to boost his videos. The vids were pretty much off the top 1000 but started climbing right after PLL and by tonight four of them are on the chart.

Oh dear, I can read the words but do not understand what they mean. For example, "but in recent years, singles only released in the CD Single format have apparently been counted too." Would the EP fall into this category, and it is being counted here instead of BB200?

Since a Maxi Single is a Single with more than the usual a-side b-side 2 songs then the only thing I can figure is that the physical EP is being classed as a maxi single and the inclusion of the free download available on the 16th allowed it to chart on the current chart rather than having to wait until the actual physical copies shipped. It's the only thing that would explain both the Hot Single Sales and Hot Dance Single Sales chart positions.
