It will be interesting to see if Adam performs OOL in Bali. you mean OOL for the NYE performance? When everyone is supposed to cheer and be happy? hmmmm.... Adam performed Soaked at Gridlock NYE. That is not a party song. |

For this gala dinner there will be around 40 tables only, 10 guests each Platinum: 12 tables. Gold: 20 tables. Silver: 10 tables. Layout: runway stage surrounded by the tables So Max revenue is 255,200. An event like this with meal/drinks included, decor. other bands, wages for staff, is not cheap, and the hotel wants a profit. I would guess Adam is getting probably what he usually requests -- -- of which I no nothing!!My guess is 100,000 plus expenses when on site. After paying for the band, flights etc. He still has pocket money and a tad for the tour!! My guess is the resort is picking up all transportation (incl flights) for Adam and the band. Adam first class. The resort will probably lose money on the concert but offset it with revenue from rooms and other resort revenue. |

So airfare for me and hubby, total $6400 + Room for 6 nights $2800 + 2 tickets to see Adam & party 1476 = Priceless vacation! ($10676) I have to assume that with that price you're not flying couch right? ;D Because flying from LA should way cheaper compare to flying from east coast. I found it's $2030.00 per person and Nusa Dua fulls of luxurious hotels. The revenue is not just from the event....They are using his name to attract clients= ability to sell the beds in this new place =all kinds of $s for the resort .... Performing in front of 400 people is not an exposure building event...I am thinking that the location was the main attraction for Adam, especially that he can take the band as well... I am sure the money is "good" . |

Revenue is actually $269,960 if you breakdown the tables and prices. These will most likely all be hotel guests, so the hotel is making money from that too. I have family by marriage in Bali ( I mean Indonesia)and pretty much everything else there is really cheap, food, etc. I would guess this is like a casino gig. Going to Bali, for them, is like me going to Las Vegas! Seriously! #jealous The perfomer's job is to get the people there. The establishment expects to make money in many ways from the patrons! Also, this resort just opened. This is their first big event! The event will help establish them as a word class resort! |

I do find it ironic that I just paid $20 to see Adam and now this.
I know nothing about how artists are paid but if I were to negotiate a contract I would want a flat fee, plus expenses and a cut of the house. Not all of a hotels income is from the tickets. There are drinks, room rate, services, hotel gift shops and other food and drink besides the actual event.
A new hotel with what looks like will be just after their soft opening needs, needs new clients and they are in a rarefied price range. Just today alone they have had more PR than could possibly pay for!

I will bet you anything that AZGlamfan goes. Also, I'll bet there will be offficial, professional photos from the hotel. We won't get the concert streamed, but we'll survive. We really will! oy...I didn't even think of the lack of YT or pictures... and that too! I was thinking of the on-going lack of interest by the entertainment industry in my and his home country in this best entertainer out there... I'm sad but I'm glad too, because Adam is still working on NY Eve and is able to have his dream vacation with Sauli. I'm 100% sure Sauli will go with Adam to Bali. And even if he doesn't go to Bali on NY Eve, I doubt we will see him in US tv and that fact make me even sadder that knowing him working in paradise island and not in the US. FYI - Adam's performance in Bali is not for the richest only. IF EVER, one of the SPOILED Brunei's princes are asking him to perform in one of their parties in Jakarta or in Bali... now I can tell you he will get pay million from it. |
