And, the Chinese Glamberts got the price info: There're 3 VIP levels: silver $538, gold $638 and platinum $738, in addition to the regular tickets at $488. (all prices in USD).I absolutely love this! Adam is making loads of money and celebrating the new year with his love, Sauli, in paradise!! Quoting myself from last night to clear up some confusion... There's a dinner gala before Adam's performance, which consists 40 tables and is divided into 3 different levels: silver, gold and platinum. Then, for the actual new year's eve Adam event, the attendance is max 2000 people with regular admission at $488, including those dinner gala VIP guests. So, Adam is not performing to just 400 people at this fabulous gig!
Ohhhhhhhhh!! Well, that makes a huge difference, doesn't it! That adds another 195K to the rvenue!

what would be the guess on income for Adam on this? My thought is at least 500K net for him. Wasn't there a web site somewhere that gave estimated fees for entertainers? My guess would be between 150-200K with all expenses covered.

The tables are around the walk stage for the earlier act and dinner. Then they open another area (perhaps behind the tables) for GA? OR would they take the tables away? - which I doubt.....

What a great way for Adam to give his band a real treat, too. Helps make up for less desirable venues such as the slaughterhouse/stockyard, etc. ( yes, I realize that was before many of current band members were with Adam, but I used that venue to make a point.). Also, somebody at DMG is going to get one heck of a vacation as well. I should display all this in green with envy type, but I don't want to impersonate a mod. Can't remember which south pacific location Adam and his band and dancers stayed at during GNT. They were there for a few days and had a great time. Sutan's old stomping grounds, I think. But I do think I remember Tommy couln't go because he had lost his passport and had to get that straightened out to be at a gig a few days later... Bet that won't happen this time!

I've got to get back to work....soooo procrastinating here, but I have an idea for a new reality show. Best/popular people from all reality singing shows compete for just audience votes. Might be genre categories: original music, rock covers, jazz covers, reggae covers, etc. Just an 8-week fill-in show with Adam as host, judge and featured performer.
I know, never going to happen, but I want to see more Adam on my TV!

FYI - Adam's performance in Bali is not for the richest only. IF EVER, one of the SPOILED Brunei's princes are asking him to perform in one of their parties in Jakarta or in Bali... now I can tell you he will get pay million from it. What is a Brunei prince? Why are they spoiled?

Why are they spoiled? Brunei is separate country on one of the larger islands of Indonesia. They have a lot of oil production. The prince is ultra-rich, young and spoiled. He throws his money around to get what he wants.

Silver - $538 Gold - $638 Platinum - $738. I do find it ironic that I just paid $20 to see Adam and now this. I know nothing about how artists are paid but if I were to negotiate a contract I would want a flat fee, plus expenses and a cut of the house. Not all of a hotels income is from the tickets. There are drinks, room rate, services, hotel gift shops and other food and drink besides the actual event. A new hotel with what looks like will be just after their soft opening needs, needs new clients and they are in a rarefied price range. Just today alone they have had more PR than could possibly pay for! eta: ah see I was singing with the chorus!
duchess, you're a smart cookie!
From what I learned from a good friend of mine who works at the local casino resort here, that's how they pay their big name performers. The casinos/resorts don't really make money off on the event ticket sales but everything else, and the artists are paid with a flat fee (all expenses covered), plus some some depends on their contracts.
I have no idea how much Adam will actually get paid, but no doubt this is gonna be a handsome payout, and more importantly, a priceless new year's eve with Sauli!!

twitter.com/gerhanaputriChristine G. Putri @gerhanaputri Third phone call today to Mulia Resort. Here are some details to share: Capacity for The Grand Ballroom : up to 2,000 guests. For this gala dinner there will be around 40 tables only, 10 guests each Platinum: 12 tables. Gold: 20 tables. Silver: 10 tables. Layout: runway stage surrounded by the tables So Max revenue is 255,200. An event like this with meal/drinks included, decor. other bands, wages for staff, is not cheap, and the hotel wants a profit. I would guess Adam is getting probably what he usually requests -- -- of which I no nothing!!My guess is 100,000 plus expenses when on site. After paying for the band, flights etc. He still has pocket money and a tad for the tour!! edit: I was in Bali 4 years ago... Ubud (inland cultural center) and on the coast Nusa Dua. Amazing amazing country!! Well worth a trip. If you are thinking of going pm me and I can a tip on a great driver -used by a miriade of friends and family over the past four years, and an inexpensive slice of heaven --- 7 unit boutique hotel if venturing to Ubud. If going to Bali you have to stay and take in some of the country! The hotel wants him to come to Bali, for this special event, I doubt DMG will sign anything for Adam's usual pay. It's special event and it should come with special prize ;D ;D. And I believe DMG gets a lot of request for Adam for NY Eve gigs and if they chose this gigs, I would think it's the best choices + the free vacations for him and Sauli. With this kind of special event the hotel expect to have fully booked, that's where their money come from and that's why Adam will get pay load. So glad you have a great time in Bali ;D
