I have to assume that with that price you're not flying couch right? ;D Because flying from LA should way cheaper compare to flying from east coast. I found it's $2030.00 per person and Nusa Dua fulls of luxurious hotels. If Mulia is fully booked you can go to see below www.expedia.com/Hotel-Search#destination=Nusa+Dua,+Indonesia&startDate=12/29/2012&endDate=01/02/2013&adults=1,1®ionId=6049363&total=53&lodging=all&sort=mostPopular&page=1 I really wish I can go... , but flying 40hrs from US - BALI and then another 40hrs BALI-US and then go back to work.. :-/ Well, if you were able to recline on a couch for 40 hours, it might not be so bad. [/IMG] Sorry, the typo made me chuckle.
yeah, I wish it's a couch .. ..

FYI - Adam's performance in Bali is not for the richest only. IF EVER, one of the SPOILED Brunei's princes are asking him to perform in one of their parties in Jakarta or in Bali... now I can tell you he will get pay million from it. What is a Brunei prince? Why are they spoiled?
This reminded me of The Black Eyed Peas got paid a million bucks to sing at some Russian oil billionaire's birthday celebration on a yacht a few years back....
gotta go to the studio now...later

What a great way for Adam to give his band a real treat, too. Helps make up for less desirable venues such as the slaughterhouse/stockyard, etc. ( yes, I realize that was before many of current band members were with Adam, but I used that venue to make a point.). Also, somebody at DMG is going to get one heck of a vacation as well. I should display all this in green with envy type, but I don't want to impersonate a mod. Can't remember which south pacific location Adam and his band and dancers stayed at during GNT. They were there for a few days and had a great time. Sutan's old stomping grounds, I think. But I do think I remember Tommy couln't go because he had lost his passport and had to get that straightened out to be at a gig a few days later... Bet that won't happen this time! It was Bali! Adam told how they all teased Tommy and texed him things like "It's so nice here, why did you loose your passport?" ;D Here's to hoping he won't lose it this time. The rest of the band is new and haven't been there the last time.

Article Source: EzineArticles.com/1963705below is a list of what some of the biggest celebrities in Hollywood make for a private engagement. Remember, these fees do not include travel, production costs, and other rider requirements. These fees are just what the celebrity is paid to perform. The buyer is responsible for covering all other costs associated with bringing the entertainer to their event. Prices fluctuate a bit due to career swings, location of the event, date and other details - Carrie Underwood - $150,000 to $250,000 - Cher - $1.5 million - Hall and Oates - $150,000 - Tina Turner - $2 million - The Beach Boys - $200,000 - The Who - $2 million - Kelly Clarkson - $300,000 to $400,000 - Larry the Cable Guy - $300,000 - James Blunt - $250,000 - Mariah Carey - $1 million - Usher - $1 million

There has certainly been a shift. If the US isn't interested, glad to see that they are working international hard.[/quote Exactly. Adam has an amazing international appeal and RCA is very smart to focus their energy and attention on that rather than trying to pander to the ultra conservative radio market here in the U.S. To RCA money is money. They don't care where the sales come from as long as they come. If Adam wants to be able to have money to put together a US tour and ever come close to Wisconsin & Co., then he has to earn the money to do so. He is doing that right now and building his international profile while at it. In my mind exactly the right thing to do. Banging his head against the wall at US radio is not going to help him or anyone move his career forward. By the way, this is DMGs work, I am not sure that RCA is going to see much of anything from such concert events. Adam does not (TG) have the 360 deals where RCA would majorly profit from all his revenue streams. This is really Adam building seed money for a tour. Now having said that, the vacation aspect of this is huge. The reality is that 2000 people at avg $ 500 is only about $ 1 mil to go around. That needs to pay for the venue, the dinner, party, two opening acts, film crews, Adam's band (which one???) and Adam himself. He is going to be paid well, for sure, but he is not making millions here. RCA is the one in a pickle with all this what is happening here. They were unable to break through the "wall of US radio as well as UK radio" with Adam. Be it misjudgement on their part or rejection by that medium or both, the bottom-line is, they cannot make their money back that they have invested and that is a difficult situation for them. And we will have to wait and see how this will shake out. But for Adam himself it is very important that he independently from this radio mess, builds up his internationally marketable brand and he is doing that. I cannot fly to EU or ZA (South Africa) either for concerts, so I may not see Adam all the time, except on my computer, but if he does not have a successful career performing at venues all around the world, then I will not see Adam at all, and that would be terrible. The world has become a close-knit place and a concert from ZA or Ukraine sounds just as good as one from Arizona. The stress on him for flying back and forth between the Pacific region and California constantly is of course a different matter. South America would be easier! Just saying. You are correct, the NYE event has nothing to do with RCA. But this is not Adam getting seed money for his tour, this is Adam doing an event to make some money, and keep the band paid between tours. (And have an amazing all expense paid vacation in Bali for Adam and his Glamily.) And Adam does not have to fund his own tour. He can get promoters to do that. He has the track record and is a proven good bet. ** on "RCA is the one in a pickle with all this what is happening here. They were unable to break through the "wall of US radio as well as UK radio" with Adam. Be it misjudgement on their part or rejection by that medium or both, the bottom-line is, they cannot make their money back that they have invested and that is a difficult situation for them."We have no idea what the breakeven is for Trespassing, but RCA is not in any "pickle". Radio for a promoted song is a net expense for the labels and artists. The reason I do not believe they do not have a financial issue is that they (including Adam) have been very conservative with spending related to this album. In addition, RCA makes money from a recording project in a number of ways including direct sale of music. In the end, RCA will make money on Trespassing -- they own (and paid for) the recording masters. In any case, my guess (and that is all we can do) is that they are close to B/E on Trespassing and that they made a lot of money on FYE. ** on the bigger discussion of the connection between radio and success...."But for Adam himself it is very important that he independently from this radio mess, builds up his internationally marketable brand and he is doing that." Adam has more fans and sells more in the US and Canada than the rest of the world. He will not and should not focus only on international markets. And the relationship between pop radio hits and touring is limited. > Adam will not be able to do an arena tour without some big mainstream hits. But only the most elite artists get to do arena tours. And some artist with more than 1 #1 hit can't headline arena tours. > For Adam to tour in the US/Canada as a headliner, he needs to convince concert promoters/venue owners that he can sell tickets. He has a track record of filling venues from 2,500 to 5,000 -- more as part of an event. I do not think he will have trouble putting together a US/Canada tour leg in late Spring-Summer 2013. > Adam will get some support from Sony/RCA for a tour -- both financial and field/staff support for things like local radio promotion. This is very important to touring success because it helps to sell ticket without having to pay for advertising. **** The top end of the theater venue concert circuit, is not filled with radio-centric artists. It is filled with artists who have very committed fans AND artists who are entertaining live. Adam is both. **** Look at the upcoming bookings at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live (capacity 7.100): Saturday 27 October 2012 Googoosh - Iranian singer and actress Monday 29 October 2012 Prince Royce - Puerto Rican singer-songwriter and record producer from New York (US Latin chart hits) Friday 02 November 2012, Saturday 03 November 2012 - R. Kelly - No current mainstream radio hit, airplay on R&R/Hip Hop stations. Last Top 10 Mainstream hit 2003, Top 40 Mainstream hit 2007. R&B Hip Hop chart success more recent with #8 in 2009. Sunday 04 November 2012 Eric Church - country artist, some crossover success. Monday 05 November 2012 Leonard Cohen - Canadian Icon, not a singles artist. He wrote a song that was a hit for Jeff Buckley, Hallelujah, but got little or no radio airplay. (#1 in digital sales). Saturday 24 November 2012 The Fresh Beat Band - children's act. Sunday 25 November 2012 - Trey Songz on radio, mostly R&B Thursday 29 November 2012 - Prince Royce (2nd show) Saturday 01 December 2012 - KIIS Jingle Ball - radio promo Taylor Swift Ne-Yo Ellie Goulding OneRepublic Akon Monday 03 December 2012 - KIIS Jingle Ball - radio promo Flo Rida Justin Bieber Ke$ha The Wanted Afrojack Owl City PSY Wednesday 05 December 2012- Celtic Thunder
I do not expect Adam to be booked in this venue -- just used it as an example.

Quoting myself from last night to clear up some confusion...
There's a dinner gala before Adam's performance, which consists 40 tables and is divided into 3 different levels: silver, gold and platinum. Then, for the actual new year's eve Adam event, the attendance is max 2000 people with regular admission at $488, including those dinner gala VIP guests. So, Adam is not performing to just 400 people at this fabulous gig! Ohhhhhhhhh!! Well, that makes a huge difference, doesn't it! That adds another 195K to the rvenue! [/IMG]
It actually adds more like 780K to the total. 400 people at tables with prices ranging from 538 to 738 = ~ 250K 1600 'regular' people at 488 =~780K Total above 1 million

The Prince of Brunei is filthy rich and loves to be entertained. Didn't I read somewhere (and there was even a pic posted) that he is an Adam fan? So he could very well buy out the whole venue for friends and family if he wanted to. Or maybe even invite him to do a private concert at his palace. My cousin is a producer and has produced many private shows for the Prince and boy, he gets paid handsomely. At one of his productions, the Prince gifted the whole crew with gold Rolex watches as a bonus! My cousin got a lot more than a Rolex watch as a bonus! BTW, my cousin is a huge Adam fan and has a huge collection of everything Adam. I guess it runs in the family! 8-) ;D [/IMG]
