My take on the line "hopefully a new album soon". This was said by Adam Lambert. Soon could be in 2013 or 2015. Unfortuneately for us, Adam's "soon" is usually very far away. ** Regarding RCA, they will option a third album from Adam. But the label has no incentive to rush out a new album from Adam before they have maximized the revenue from this one. On the third album decision -- it is not so simple as what did RCA make on the current album, it is just as much based on what they expect to make on the next album. Regarding touring -- I have no doubt that Adam will do a tour in the US. None. It is the most profitable place for him to tour and, one thing we know about Adam, he does take care of the bottom line.
No, it's not as simple as what RCA makes on TSP but IF TSP had sold like KA's or Cook's numbers so far, I have a feeling the conversation right now might be slightly different. IMO, more than anything, RCA has always been/will be banking on Adam's talent, his worldwide market value and proven status of phenomenal live performer, and other great potentials that hasn't been tapped, yet.
You're absolutely spot on when you pointed out Adam's sense of time (or lack of) can be quite different from us, so his "soon" could very well be 2013 or 2015, or in between. I remember as nearing the end of GNT, Adam hinted that the label wanted a new album out in the next spring but with new love coming into his life and change of art direction, he eventually took a year & half and RCA went with it. However, this time around, I'm not sure he would get such an allowance, or he would want that himself; and since RCA is not getting anything out of his tour, I'm not sure how much more they can still milk out of TSP, in addition to the current EP and likely some album sales increase 'cuz the tour and other incremental benefits. UNLESS the 3rd single took off and turned things around significantly, otherwise, imo, it's not worthwhile from the company's stand point to let him have a lengthy tour and be even further away from the general public's conscious (I've heard too many times of this "what? this is his 2nd album? and he did something with Queen?? I loved him on Idol!")
I whole-heartedly agree that Adam does take care of the bottom line! To my initial surprise, he turned out to be a very savvy and calculated business man. He will certainly take care of the numbers for RCA and himself!

Yeah , maybe you guys are right . Maybe it's just a typo on the written NZ interview !!! could be just that the writer of the article was too drunk or high or tired to fucking focus !! Haha . Oh well . Life goes on . Yes RCA screwed up BIG TIME . And radio .... don't fucking even get me fucking started with fucking radio because I'll never fucking end with my fucking rant . FUCK RADIO !!!! But I think that the Queenbert shows were Magic ..... They were so awesome !!!!! Maybe they were done at a bad time ? I don't know , but they were awesome . Pretty Little Liars tomorrow . Japan shows . Bali show . SA show . Lots of shows . Now I remeber , In Japan , as we were waiting for Adam to announce the name of the third single , In the Sukkirii Japan interview , he said " This is Just The Beginning" I'm feeling a little better now . Trust a Bitch . Yeah , that's what I'll do . Thanks Guys .

that's not being a ninja, that's being a stalker and snooping into personal information that fans have no business being involved in. Makes me cringe.

Q3, I don't ever remember you saying, until recently that Adam's album did not have main stream Pop appeal! I thought the thought was that Cuckoo, NCOE, Naked love were perfect mainstream Pop songs. If those had hit big, then Trespassing would have. I listen to Pop all the time and there is no doubt in my mind that Cuckoo would have been huge. It had 2 of the top writers and producers from 2010/2011, at its helm, Bonnie and Ollie. And there it sits on the album, never being released! And what do I mean by critical acclaim? I mean Fuck the metric scores. 3 scores pulled down the excllent reviews the album got from around the world! Do I think Adam will tour? Absolutely! Do I think he might have an album out by end of 2013? Possibly! Do I think there is anything wrong with this album or the 4 songs that would be excellent singles? Absolutely not!

[/IMG]
TSP era is NOT gonna be over for quite some time, imo, there're still many things (including TSP tour of whatever length & format) in store for Adam and us. But, there's an end to each era after running out of its course and a new era will come, then, we all get to ride the roller coaster again!
