Some of you are going to think I am ridiculously sensitive and I don't care.
Animals are vulnerable populations that are beat up, murdered, and bullied, like other vulnerable populations. I get it for eskimos who eat the animal whose fur they wear. I get it for those who live in arctic weather, who have an overpopulation of animals, who eat the meat. But here in the US it just a white man's show of power. Wearing the pelt of a vulnerable creature, a creature less powerful is a way to show your power. But is that really the kind of power you want to show? Wearing the fur of your spirit animal can only be really, really bad karma. But, I love the look of fur so wear lots of fake fur. Just please let people know it is not cool killing animals for fun. Because a huge number of people around the world kill for fun, just because they can. They really enjoy murdering animals. And those people are true assholes. I've met some of them. I am not a Peta person. I am just a person that believes the vulnerable populations are some of our most precious populations and they deserve love and protection.
