Cuckoo fit perfectly in the episode -- brilliant playing Trespassing as that's the name of his current album (and now single). When they filmed PLL, had they picked TP as the single? So, as I said, the first reports that Adam will appear on PLL came mid July. That first gorgeous photo of him from the set leaked mid August. So I'm guessing the filming took place then. Adam announced Trespassing as the third single on September 6th, but he probably knew earlier than that. I don't think he knew as early as mid august, though. All this can be irrelevant if we presume that those two songs were the most probable options for the third single from starters. Knowing he'd be doing both on PLL, the third single promo via PLL was guaranteed either way. What a mess of a post: in short, I don't think he knew what the single would be when they filmed the show. Summer Sonic Tokyo and Osaka were on August 18-19. PLL shooting was 1-2 before Adam went to Tokyo, after the shooting we found out that he sang Trespassing and Cuckoo on PLL. In Tokyo while promoting the album, Adam sang Trespassing and he sang the same song in Melbourne. Fans made a conclussion that Trespassing's going to be the next single.  So I'm thinking, RCA/Adam have decided Trespassing was the single between that time period prior to the shooting. |

With his patted a deathly white and fangs in full show, he got flirty with Aria (Lucy Hale), and then hit the stage two Trespassing tracks, “Cuckoo” and “Trespassing.” To be sure, tricks and trouble were aplenty on that train last night, but Lambert’s performances were all treat.
