The #1 Dance track is important. It will help Adam get club play in the US.
#1 Hot Dance Single Sales – From Billboard, it is sales of “commercially released singles that deal with dance music and remixes. It was formerly known as Hot Dance Music/Maxi-Singles Sales.” Now it includes digital tracks.
I cannot figure out the #2 on Hot Single Sales -- because there in no CD release of this single.

Thinking about Adam's acting scene on PLL. Seeing the tweets from the show's fans, and the demographics, I think the scene was perfect. Previously I had looked at it from an adult perspective --- but that was not the audience they had in mind. For a 14 year old girl watching, Adam was classy, sophisticated and yet very sweet, charming and almost a little shy with Aria. Exotic, yet safe for a teen girl. Complimenting her, smiling at her, hoping she would be down front for his next set.... a teen's dream, right? In that light, Adam hit it pitch perfect. We've had a discussion re acting ability...Let me only say that I was not impressed by the general level...pretty much none of the main characters can boast superb acting skills, to the point that I am not sure if it is their fault or the director's style... so in that light - Adam was perfect: he was right in the same vane as the rest of the cast....

Nr.1 is always a Nr.1, but nothing worth celebrating over. Such a minor chart I think it's worth celebrating!!! WOOHOO!!!

PLL is a teen show. Daniel Day-Lewis style acting wasn't exactly called for here, so I think Adam was fine in this context.

This may be a strange idea but maybe the EP is not charting as an album on Billboard but as a Physical Single, since all of the songs are remixes and there are actually only four unique songs on the EP. The two chart positions reported are Hot Single Sales and Hot Dance Single Sales. The first is supposed to be physical singles only though unless they changed that. Not sure how the EP could chart there unless they are able to report the AO sales on this chart even though they haven't shipped yet. I don't get it but I guess we will eventually get some sort of explanation. At least I hope. But who cares Adam has two new chart records #2 Hot Single Sales #1 Hot Dance Single Sales YAY!!!! EPs with four track make the Billboard 200 -- here is an example: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swan_Songs_B-Sides_EPThere are many more. There are 4 unique tracks on Trespassing. Remix EPs chart on the album chart. All I can say is :dunno: I need to make some calls to find out how Trespassing is a Hot Single since the CD is not released and how Trespassing EP did not chart!?!?!?!?

Actually, that was sorta what I was trying to say. I know that Adam has said he is not confident in his acting ability and some fans have commented that he is not that good an actor, but we haven't seen many examples of it. The only videos with Adam acting with spoken lines that I am aware of is the clips from Wicked. Not enough for me to make a judgment. But on PLL, brief as it was, I thought it blended in and fit well with the rest of the characters in a made-for-teens show. I thought he had been directed to be cute and sweet and shy. We'll never know. I think that Adam is a talented physical actor when singing. Whether he is good at scripted lines, I don't know, but I would like to see him give a dramatic or comic role a spin. If he can find a drama coach who can take his natural instincts as a physical actor and interpreter of music and apply it to spoken dialog, I think he could be compelling. It's just my wish from my list of what I want from Adam. Not necessarily what Adam wants or what would be best for his career. Just what I would love from him.
