A very good person on Twitter to follow for hurricane updates is @brendanloy, also known as the Weather Nerd. I have followed him for multiple storms since Katrina and he tells it like it is.

Surprised that Gavin goes before Adam. Happy for Gavin though because his mellow music after Adam would be such a letdown! For me anyway! Alanis should be different enough so that she can kick ass! I think this will be a good show! I think the SF show will be great! But the week before Christmas could not be worse timing! I am surprised too since Gavin has had a lot more hits than Adam. But could it be that Adam is a bigger concert draw? I remember the David Cook/Gavin Degraw concert last year didn't sell that well and the ones I saw stats on had smaller venues (< 2000). There was one show in Idaho that only got 46% attendance in a venue with capacity of only 1K. Ya, I saw the Cook/Degraw show in my little town here - was not a sell out even though 1800 capacity (I think) - I went out of curiosity about Cook but did not like him AT ALL. However, I became quite a fan of Degraw at that concert - bought his CD and LOVE IT! And he did tweet Adam that he liked his "singing" after Adam tweeted about Gavin's song Sweeter. The Cook/Degraw concerts were BEFORE Gavin had his huge hit with Not Over You - that song was out almost a year before it took off - long, slow climb. So I think he may be a bigger draw now. He recently toured with Colbie Caillat (sp?) and I could not get a ticket as the concert sold out (smallish winery venue tho). Ironically, I think that song Adam tweeted about "Sweeter" which is my fav on Gavin's album went nowhere and now they are onto single #3 which I just don't know about.....me and Adam seem to have same taste in this case heehee. |

Since Gavin was responding to Adam's tweet, I don't know why Adam would respond again! Agree, Gavin seems like a nice guy. He was attacked in NYC about a year ago and had serious injuries. Lucky to be alive!
Adam on this concert line-up seems odd. But the station is playing Tresp so I won't complain!

I've been watching CNN and thinking of everyone on the east coast.
Hope you're all prepared as much as you can be. I think I'd run away from the storm, but I know that's much easier said than done.
I have 2 cats and I don't even know where I could take them.
Anyway, I'll be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers and hoping the storm isn't as bad as they're saying.

Second WOO HOO that Trespassing got played on SNOL! I followed the local station near me and tweeted them a requested and also requested via Z100 mediabase form!!
I hope this is the beginning of good things for this single!
maybe the response to Adam's music on PLL kicked something into gear and Trespassing will be a hit and then we'll get Cuckoo too :wub:
