first thanks to LindaG for my beautiful new avi!! Second WOO HOO that Trespassing got played on SNOL! I followed the local station near me and tweeted them a requested and also requested via Z100 mediabase form!! I've been watching CNN and thinking of everyone on the east coast. Hope you're all prepared as much as you can be. I think I'd run away from the storm, but I know that's much easier said than done. I have 2 cats and I don't even know where I could take them. Anyway, I'll be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers and hoping the storm isn't as bad as they're saying. The shelters in my city and the states around me all have shelters which accept pets. The planners have learned from past emergencies that many people will not leave home without their pets who are truly members of the family. Just about everything in Philly will be shut down starting tonight and my job is already announced they are closed tomorrow. I think most people are as prepared as they can be. |

Skylar, thanks for sharing your home and it's beautiful setting with us. So glad our Atoppers are a smart, savvy group who go into this widespread storm so well-prepared. Having experienced the Adam roller coaster, you have a wealth of experience "hanging on." ETA: I don't mean to make light of the current situation. Major prayers to the universe who seems to have it in for us.  ETA: mzsue, hope you are fine too with the quake.

Broken English: Why it is OTT? Looks so normal to me? #clueless It's way too much for the artist to tweet. I assume he had not read what was in the long tweet. Maybe Adam read it and realized it was not a sensible recommendation. No artist who want to get airplay would recommend fans request so frequently. For example, she recommends sending in a Mediabase request every few hours. |

Since Gavin was responding to Adam's tweet, I don't know why Adam would respond again! Agree, Gavin seems like a nice guy. He was attacked in NYC about a year ago and had serious injuries. Lucky to be alive! Adam on this concert line-up seems odd. But the station is playing Tresp so I won't complain! I vaguely remembered Gavin's tweet as some kind of invite so thought Adam might reply.. Found the tweet interaction on a radio site from July.. Back in May, Adam Lambert tweeted that he loved Gavin DeGraw 's latest single, writing, "'Sweeter' is a jam! So good!" Gavin responded , "hey bro, thanks for the shout about 'SWEETER' love your singing!" Now, Gavin has invited Adam to collaborate with him. In a tweet to Adam on Tuesday, Gavin wrote, "Love your song bro. Let's link up." Fans seemed to like the idea of the two working together; dozens retweeted Gavin's invitation, and one wrote, "This is a collab that must happen." So far no response from Adam, but he was in Moscow on Tuesday performing with Queen . |

We are used to having "hurricane" supplies, and being prepaired. During Alicia (I think) in the late 80's (I think) power was out in some areas for 3 weeks. It wasn't cold, but it was hot, all the food spoiled, there was no drinking water, people were bathing in swimming pools, it was a real mess. Please check in with us when you can to let us know you are safe. I have made a lot of good friends on this board, and need to know that you are all OK. Hugs to all.
