Being a glambert sure gives me a lot of people to worry about. Even when your lines of communication are down, know that you have a lot of people anxiously waiting for your return here! Hold tight!

I used to live in CT, in the fairytale-like woods, I would say. Do you live near UConn? Take good care,. Hope everything will be fine with you, your family and your beautiful house. |

My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone who is in the path of this Frankenstorm. I also want to express my gratitude to all the people who will be out in force to rescue others and repair downed lines. Although I am safe here in the midwest, I did see on tv that our local peeps are ready to go to the east to help out if need be. I don't have relatives in the east, but my sons new BIL & SIL are in DC and they just had a new baby girl a week ago. So, I certainly have a connection and hope they will be safe. This is the son who lives in HI and called me at 4:15am yesterday to tell me of the psunami warning. Luckily, nothing happened although they had to evacuate the Four Seasons where he is a chef. Kudos to a good son who knows his mom will worry.  I hope everyone who needs to evacuate, does. This is a very scary storm. So glad to hear that the shelters will take furry family members also. I know I couldn't leave mine behind. Sending out safe thoughts to the universe for all our beloved Atop members! We Love You!!!! |
