Hia! Another new face and another Finbert. Let's see how my first post turns out. Oh and I want to apologize in advance because I will most likely make mistakes when writing English. This post is not the shortest, so I hope you understand that I will not check the grammar that carefully. I've been lurking for a while and I'm not sure yet how often I will now post, but I just wanted to say AWESOME JOB everyone! This board is my favorite place to lurk. You guys are funny, smart, and there isn't too much drama. 8-) I was first a fan of Sauli. I followed him on Finnish Big Brother and he won my heart (just like he did with everyone else in Finland). Coolest, funniest and cutest boy (now man) ever. I didn't stan him but I was definitely mesmerized by his personality. Then he met Adam. I wasn't that interested at first but last spring something changed. I read in Finnish papers that Lambert's new album would be released. I went to Youtube to look some videos of him performing... and the rest you can all guess. There have been many occasions during last month when I wanted to also comment on this board but I just didn't get to making an account. Now I got so "angry" (not really lol) at Adam that I wanted to share something I found out by accident: So Adam gave that Lance Bass Dirty Pop interview. As also a Sauli fan I was a bit annoyed that Adam made Sauli (again) look like the weaker feminine half of their relationship. He was imitating Sauli's accent but imo he also sounded very feminine. Now I don't know how Sauli speaks English, but his Finnish language and behavior doesn't have that much femme in it. But well, that's just my own fan drama and I'm most likely reading way too much into it (maybe I'm the one who will bring the drama to this board ). But anyway, this is the point why I felt like I needed to post: I got curious about the phrase "get off the air". I knew what it meant but I wondered if Adam meant it also as something Sauli would say to him if he was daydreaming etc. I searched google and this song Get off the Air by Dead Kennedys appeared: Fun Fun Fun in the fluffy chair Flame up the herb Woof down the beer
Hi I'm your video DJ I always talk like I'm wigged out on quaaludes I wear a satin baseball jacket everywhere I go
My job is to help destroy What's left of your imagination By feeding you endless doses Of sugar-coated mindless garbage
So don't create Be sedate Be a vegetable at home And thwack on that dial If we have our way even you will believe This is the future of rock and roll
How far will you go How low will you stoop To tranquilize our minds with your sugar-coated swill
You've turned rock and roll rebellion Into Pat Boone sedation Making sure nothing's left to the imagination
M.T.V. Get off the M.T.V. Get off the M.T.V. Get off the air Get off the air
See the latest rejects from the muppet show Wag their tits and their dicks As they lip-synch on screen There's something I don't like About a band who always smiles Another tax write-off For some schmuck who doesn't care
M.T.V. Get off the air And so it was Our beloved corporate gods Claimed they created rock video
Allowing it to sink as low in one year As commercial TV has in 25 "It's the new frontier," they say It's wide open, anything can happen
But you've got a lot of nerve To call yourself a pioneer When you're too god-damn conservative To take real chances.
Tin-eared Graph-paper brained accountants Instead of music fans Call all the shots at giant record companies now
The lowest common denominator rules Forget honesty Forget creativity The dumbest buy the mostest That's the name of the game
But sales are slumping And no one will say why Could it be they put out one too many lousy records?!?
M.T.V.-Get off the air! NOWCoincidence much????
Sorry about the long first post. Let's hope it looks decent. Hi everyone ;D Hey welcome, and it's great you delurked. Interesting comment. We can never assume anything with Adam. He is always throwing curves, and we are always on a crazy roller coaster. Maybe they have a way of talking to each other that is totally different than his public persona. I think Adam was just being cute. He loves Sauli to pieces and it shows.

[/IMG]
Adam's getting really good of answering questions by not answering the question.. LOL.. said internet's really can be trusted (sarcasm here) but then he said he like "allegedly" so he will stick with "allegedly". i'm thinking this insurance thing is true. ;D ;D
OK- thanks for clarifying. I admit that I didn't understand/hear everything he said and thus I made a wrong conclusion.

Hia! Another new face and another Finbert. Let's see how my first post turns out. Welcome to Adamtopia, ninaballerinaHI NINABALLERINA!! Welcome to Atop!!! HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE (Adam's Favorite Holiday ;D) Aww, I hope you won't read too much into Adam saying that about Sauli. It's very common for people to "extricate" themselves from conversation by saying their "other half" is waiting. It's a common way to gracefully move onto another conversation at a party, etc. It's used by both men and women equally, I'd say. LOL!! So funny about the avi discussion. I've always loved Seoulmate's avi, not just because it's so uniquely her, but because my cousin used to have a poster on her bedroom wall when we were 7 of (I swear!) the exact same ostrich. (At least it looks like an identical photo shoot – identical ostrich, lighting, angles, background ...) It always cracked us up. We ended up making up an entire story about that ostrich, which we named Gak ... long story. : Anyway ... those photos/posters are kind of classic. Great post, Craazyforadam!!

He didn't really say yes or no, because people who don't get it will make a big deal about it, but IMO he's indirectly confirming it. ;D

Thank you everyone! Mys*&@^#r50 My real name is longer but I just used nina here because I wanted to keep it short and sweet. When I was little my mom would always sing to me ABBA's song Nina, pretty ballerina so it kind of stuck. :
