Trespassing by Adam Lambert, Best Album of 2012 voices.yahoo.com/trespassing-adam-lambert-best-album-2012-11837969.html … via @ycontributor By Afshar, Yahoo! Contributor Network Oct 30, 2012 A lot of amazing things continue to happen in entertainment for 2012 and Adam Lambert's latest album Trespassing seems to be one of them. Debuting at #1 of it's first day of release on the Billboard 200 charts, this is quite possibly one of the most underrated albums I have heard in the past decade. I have listened to a lot of great new albums this year, however; Trespassing stood out to me the most, making it the number album of 2012. Why? more.. this is a great review and really good write up. Is Yahoo Voices important in the overall scheme of things? Or is this more like an "Examiner" type site?????? If it is important in the music business world, then that would be really incredible, and very good news, esp. with Grammy Noms being considered right now. Trespassing got such great reviews and critical acclaim, I am still shaking my head as to why radio is not on board much with these songs. Adam has the creds from the WWFM grammy nom that I would think any song he released would get spins. I still think Trespassing single will do well, we just need to be patient, so hard to do!

I like this section in the article: "My favorite song on the album is Runnin (which is a deluxe single track) and best described as #13 on the album. Runnin was written Adam Lambert, David Marshall, Fred Williams, Catt Gravitt, and Robert Marvin. Runnin is an uptempo song crossed into a ballad that talks about someone who is running from life's problems, including running from the things that they love. As the song continues, they begin to realize that choosing to run is not the answer."

I think it's so cool that Adam includes his hot mama when going out partying. In this pic as well as the last one we had of the three out partying, I noticed Leila's positive/loving body language (hands and inclusiveness) towards Sauli. Me thinks mama approves of her son's love.

THANKS !
The subject matter is an infinite source of " Pleasure".
I like reading how everyone got so excited over "Hold On". ... what Adam has creatively touched,, awakened excitement and created ripples of enjoyment.... and it is amazing how the lyrics are dissected like it was penned by Byron or Shelley... or Nemerov..
Or maybe its just that the folks here at A'Top recognizes a work of art and gives it , its due appreciation...

Just wanted to bring this over from yesterday's thread and respond: So Adam gave that Lance Bass Dirty Pop interview. As also a Sauli fan I was a bit annoyed that Adam made Sauli (again) look like the weaker feminine half of their relationship. He was imitating Sauli's accent but imo he also sounded very feminine. Now I don't know how Sauli speaks English, but his Finnish language and behavior doesn't have that much femme in it. But well, that's just my own fan drama and I'm most likely reading way too much into it (maybe I'm the one who will bring the drama to this board ). Hi Nina Ballerina and Welcome! So great to have another Finnish fan here. I just had to respond to your comment from yesterday because I know from first hand experience how hard it is to translate nuances of accents and languages. I have friends around the world and soo much of the nuance is lost in translation it can be very frustrating. I am also responding because I am personally fascinated by those things that are "lost in translation" and believe the subtleties in life are important. Here is the truth from one U.S. woman's point of view: Adam's mimic of Sauli's voice did not sound at all feminine to me. Funny enough to me it sounded like a scandinavian accent with an Irish brogue but definitely not at all effeminate. From where I stand Sauli looks and has never stopped coming across as a very strong, down to earth, grounded yet extremely open minded and fun person. The duo of Adam and Sauli is an extremely powerful one. They seem to strengthen each other. I guess while I hope and believe it is true, I do not know if Adam is an empowering force for Sauli since I did not know Sauli before Adam. That would be something that one of Sauli's Finnish fans from before Adam would best be able to tell. Adam has never once referenced Sauli verbally as though he is more effeminate. (Anyone can please feel free to disagree and give examples) Truth be told, though I would not know exactly what Adam thinks as I am not Adam, I do not think Adam himself looks at feminine as weaker, whether that be his own feminine side, or anyone elses. Adam's social communication and connection ability in general could be seen as a feminine strength. The degree of his communication/social connection ability is rare to find in traditional men. So, I see this feminine quality in Adam as a show of great strength. I also see Adam's HBIC persona as an extremely powerful feminine side. Adam has in fact intimated that Sauli is very strong willed and can most certainly stand his own with Adam. This is part of why I think he and Adam work so well together. I have a feeling Sauli has his own HBIC thing going ; ) In fact I think in order to hold his own with Adam, Sauli absolutely had to have a strong feminine side. The only person that ever gave me any inkling that Sauli's accent might come across as at all feminine was someone else from Finland who said Sauli's communication as seen by other Fins was slightly feminine. For me, this kind of verbal nuance is most definitely lost in translation. To me I just saw Sauli as Sauli, adorable, well adjusted, confident, outgoing, funny. I just hope for Sauli that he truly gets to manifest his own talents to the utmost because I think he is really talented. There was one video where he put on all these different outfits and spoke in different accents and he was absolutely hilarious. I am sure there are other lesser public talents that we do not have to know. It is not the fame and publicity that matters of course. It is what makes Sauli truly happy. It must be hard for Sauli fans to see him with someone of greater public fame and see Sauli perhaps a little bit less confident because he is not on his own Finnish turf with his native language. Bits and pieces come through about Sauli through Adam interviews, like the fact that Adam loves Sauli greatly, but very little of the details about Sauli. So, a full picture of who Sauli is will not be painted by or through Adam which could be frustrating from a Finnish Sauli fan point of view. But I think we all would agree that it is a good thing that Adam keeps his relationship somewhat private. I think it takes a very strong person to be in Sauli's position, the boyfriend of someone, Adam, who has become a household name and is famous now around the world. As an Adam fan who believes Sauli is very special, I wish for Sauli to have all the support that Adam gets to encourage the blooming of his talents such that he does not feel diminished in anyway. Sauli and Adam are both beautiful, kind, outgoing, talented people. What they found together is very special. I think Adam's fans only want the very best for both Adam AND Sauli.
