@adamlambert Do you think if Obama becomes the next US president, that Marriage Equality is guaranteed?
Adam Lambert: @aleksandrakv no one can know for sure. However, I would rather vote for a candidate who supports the cause and not one who opposes it.

@adamlambert what's funny is how many pop listeners that love a liberal gay artist are conservative homophobes. Tv is weird shit man.

EXCLUSIVE: Adam Lambert On His Pretty Little Liars Appearance —
“My Vampire Teeth Were My Shield, My Armor”[/size]
by Mark Graham (@unclegrambo)
November 4th, 2012 | 2:48 am
Adam Lambert has long been one of our favorite artists and, quite frankly, one of the main reasons that we were so psyched about attending the Live In The Vineyard festival in Napa, California this weekend. Adam sat down with our VH1 Top 20 Video Countdown host Jim Shearer for an interview that you’ll see on next week’s episode of the show (premiering on Saturday, November 10), but we wanted to get this clip up of Adam talking about his recent appearance on Pretty Little Liars up for the Glambert Nation as quickly as possible (hence, the low quality video; we sacrificed a bit of quality for speed!).
As you’ll see in the video clip above, Adam admits that he’s not entirely sure how he ended up on the set of Pretty Little Liars, but he did have a clear idea of what he wanted to do when he got there. “[The producers] told me it was a Halloween episode and they suggested kind of a costume thing,” Adam explained to us just a few short hours ago. “They said, ‘Oh, you know, we want to do like a steampunk band,’ and I said, ‘Vampire.’ They were trying to backpedal, and I said ‘No, I’m going to be a vampire.’ And they said, ‘Well, maybe you should…’ and I [said] ‘I’m going to come in the teeth, you’re not gonna get ‘em off me.’ Sometimes you just gotta put your foot down. Or your teeth down. Or something!”
You see, Adam wanted to make sure he was completely comfortable for what amounted to one of his biggest acting gigs to date. “When I got on set, I was really nervous ’cause I’ve never done a sitcom/TV drama thing before,” he bravely admitted. “Thank God I had my vampire teeth in because that was my shield, my armor.”
We’ll have more about Adam Lambert’s appearance at Live In The Vineyard here on VH1 Tuner tomorrow, and don’t forget to watch the VH1 Top 20 Video Countdown on Saturday for more of Jim Shearer’s interview with Glambie!

Concert Recap
Posted by didilynn 11.4.12
Late Recap of LiveInTheVineyard - disclaimer: I am no where near the writer that "mom" or many others here are - but I'll try.
I had been trying desperately to get in this thing: entered thru Whole Foods, Southwest, the main site, a bunch of the radio stations and also contacted some people I know in the wine industry. Most of them didn't even know about this event and they work in Napa County! I had no luck.
Then I got a call from "mom" (my dear friend who I met at Adam's 2010 Vancouver concerts but who lives right in my own city lol) and accepted immediately, also was asked to be designated driver - and accepted that immediately as well, who wouldn't?
She had to work so we decided I would pick her up at 4, but then she got off early so we could go at 3 but I didn't end up getting there until 3:15 or so - good thing we left early - very heavy traffic thru the Napa Valley yesterday. Normally a 1 hour drive and we got there shortly before 5 pm. But could still park across the street on the street - there were 8 people out front.
In retrospect we should have joined that group and asked what the line was about and perhaps waited, but we decided to go find a bathroom (and glass of wine of course!).
We got back shortly before 6 pm to a bit of a mob scene - 3 separate lines going in different directions! Found out 1 was for people hoping to get in, one for those needing to pick up their passes at will call and another for those with a pass already. We decided to split up - I got in the "with pass already" line while mom at will call.
In the "with pass" line people had come from various wine/food events and seemed to be in party mode already - a few female "couples" looked like they could be Adam fans but hard to tell as no one was wearing any telltale black/yellow or glitter things lol. There were a lot of couples of all ages but mostly couples over 30. I did see the 2 youngish glamberts from SoCal that I recognized from their twitter pics get in line behind me.
After a while, someone stamped my wrist and put a band on the other one and told us we would not be let in until 6:30, they were running late (with soundcheck I guess). Pretty soon Mom comes running over to get me to sign a waiver and give my DL number which I scribble in a rush, she leaves again to get our passes I guess. A bit latter she comes running back and says follow me. I was afraid to give up my spot in line behind only 40 people or so but I went.
Well, this young man gave us no tickets or pass or anything, but ushered us right into the theater past everyone and left us inside saying "have fun" or some such thing. There we were in an almost empty theater - and a woman was singing/playing piano quite well on stage (would find out later that was Grace Potter). So we made our way to front row (surprise, surprise) - some of the seats around the front had reserved signs on them, but not center front, woohoo! We sat in the empty theater and I realize that Adam is standing with 2 other people right at the end of our row! I casually say to Mom, "oh there's Adam" squeeing inside heehee.
It's tacky I know but I tried to take a couple quick pics with my phone of him without being noticeable - ya know pics or it didn't happen they were blurry but I think you could tell it was him - did not recognize the other guys at all (could of been that Jim Shearer because it was in the same spot they seemed to interview earlier?).
So we tried not to stare but it was too difficult not to look that way. Grace finished up and Adam made his way backstage. We both couldn't go to the bar (our seats needed guarding!) so I offered to go get us some wine. Cannot remember if they opened the doors before or after I went, I think after. But soon, the people poured in and the front row filled up completely with women - a number of glamberts I recognized or knew - I think the first 3 rows in fact had lots of glamberts and were mostly women with some reserved seats that were media or some other kind of VIPs.
I did not leave my seat after that first trip so unfortunately I did not mingle with others much to get any impressions of the audience. As I said, there were a lot of couples over 30. I looked back a couple times during the first performances and was dismayed that many seats were empty - I thought they should have let people in until they were full. But I heard a lot of people were in the lobby and at one of the 2 bars so maybe the seats did fill up for Adam. Honestly, I did not take a moment to look back when Adam was in front of me except ONE TIME when he asked for a show of hands. That one time I looked back and saw an awful lot of hands in the air when he asked who had never seen him live before. Maybe 80%?
Anyway, Grace Potter was amazing - a strong, clear voice that rings out with a lot of depth like Adam although the songs were not that memorable to me - I cannot remember any in fact - will have to youtube haha. She only brought one "nocturnal" out for the last song and he was hot! I thought the audience appreciated her quite a bit.
The 2nd group, Delta Rae, were very interesting - not like anything I've seen before. Wiki calls them "folk rock" I guess that's what they are, kinda bluesy, kind of Mumford & Sons but they had 4 singers plus 2 back-up musicians, 6 total members, 3 of which are siblings. The 3 siblings plus the other woman (who I met in the bathroom at end of show and complimented) were really good singers and the show had a LOT OF ENERGY (I think they may have made Adam feel competitive, he commented on the openers and it was a vibe I got from him I dunno) - people at least in front rows were on their feet a lot for this band - it seemed less acoustic because of so many instruments I guess.
I had planned to do a lot of twitpics and maybe even video a song but I was so awestruck, even after all the times I've seen Adam. This was one of the very best for me: best view, best Adam look, Adam voice. I must admit that I really liked having no backing singers to compete with his voice (selfish of me I know). Also, there was SO MUCH EYE CONTACT WITH ADAM that I felt self conscious having my iPhone in front of my face very much, he could see everything.
I started to get so excited when the rug came out, then the setlist was taped to the floor right in front of me, could read it (upside down) easily. Butterflies began when the band came out and then there was Adam in all his glory, I was in heaven.
I don't have to go over the songs - you guys have seen the vids - they were all amazing. My 4 favorites from the album are: Shady, Naked Love, Chokehold, Outlaws of Love and we got 3 of them!!! Also I LOVED Is This Love - anyone know if there are HQ vid downloads available for this?
I didn't look around much when Adam was performing - don't think I looked at the band more than once each actually - and only if Adam was standing near them or introducing lol. But it seemed that everyone was standing for him the whole time - I was anyway! I do recall one glum looking couple over my left shoulder in the row behind me (I think some of the reserved seats) just sitting there. When I did turn around to see the show of hands (what song was that anyway) - EVERYONE was standing that I could see.
When the 2 lady hosts/creators of LiveInTheVineyard (one of them was a cancer survivor) introduced Adam, they said that they had just seen him on TV fronting Queen (were they talking about the EMA's or Ukraine??) and they both seemed to adore him - were very complimentary.
Found out today that the best singer from Delta Rae (the young lady I met in the bathroom) was the one that complimented Adam on twitter and mentioned his moves too - smart girl!
Mom was so much fun - and I haven't read the whole thread yet - you probably got a great recap from her. She was so excited that Adam HANDED HER HIS TOWEL and she was proud and waved it around dancing (I think she said people stopped her in the bar to tell her how much they enjoyed her). We had a great time dancing in the front and giving Adam our love and adoration. I kept telling her "Adam said you were beautiful" and she couldn't remember it and I couldn't remember exactly what the context was, but I knew he said it. Twas magical.
We were tweeting, looking at pics, glowing, floating, etc. after Adam left the stage and then Alanis came on. I became bored with her so fast. She sat right in front of me but I could not see her face because she tended to plant it right in front of the microphone stand. She also hardly ever looked at the audience - I told "Mom" she was singing to the clouds. She looked at the ceiling and never moved from her chair. If I had been in the back I would have left, but did not want to be rude. We clapped and hooted a couple times but hardly anyone was standing. A couple times people stood to clap at the end of songs, but I don't think anyone stayed standing, maybe some in the back were (Alanis fans didn't get there early enough to get the few front rows I guess-can't compete with us glamberts). She played the harmonica once and that was cool - but her voice started to annoy me and I wanted to get out. Finally she announced her last song, people stood and I made my way to the restroom (where I got to talk to the Delta Rae singer).
Almost as much fun as the concert was the ride home, where "mom" and I sang along to Adam's entire UK album version - and wow, she can really sing! I had to shut up and just listen to her and Adam's voices, what a treat!
I really want to turn the HQ vids into versions I can put on a DVD (the back of me is in many of them dancing to Adam) - but I don't know how - guess I better do some research on this.
If I think of any other details I'll post them!
ETA: remembered this: one Adam fan said she got in by just showing up - they did let 10 people in that just showed up! She got in the night before too - they let 25 people in Friday. She said some paper had posted about showing up Friday night, and then she found out about showing up Saturday night on Friday.

How do I start? This marks my third attempt at beginning to write to you tonite. After all the love you have shown me in the past 24 hours, I'm failing miserably as I try to thank you for the gleeful celebration and affection I've felt through your posts.
Oh, everyone!! The joy of Adam's acknowledgement of me is only overtaken by the thrilling kindness from Adamtopia! The Universe clicked on my channel - I feel such amazement that Adam recognized this awakened soul, who lost herself in his performance last night.
I had never heard of 'Live in the Vineyard' before - even though it's been in existence for about ten years - two 3-day long wine&food&music events annually. My father's family moved to Napa in 1904, and the Uptown Theatre is only a few blocks from the house where my dad was born.
When I heard Adam was going to be a part of this event, I did just what Didilynn described in her great review! I entered every radio contest, contacted wineries for information, and tried to find a ticket in all the conventional ways. I even signed up to 'volunteer' as an emergency nurse at the venue! Nothing worked. I was told the event was private and could only be attended as a contest winner. Didi discovered a ticket for 'Live in the Vineyard' on eBay; it sold for $7700.00!!
Having lived in Sonoma County for 38 years, we've made some very special friends along the way. Most of us moved here as newlyweds and began to raise our families. I've 'outed' my Adam passion to everyone I know - not shy any longer, by any means. One friend accompanied me to Thunder Valley two years ago, and came as my guest to the GLAAD awards dinner in SF last year. BTW, Sam Sparro was the featured performer!!
Anyway, this dear friend is super-involved with promoting the arts in the North SF Bay Area. She contacted a friend to see if he could find a ticket for me; and this friend told her that the event was 'locked down' - there were no 'passes' to be had.
Then, in the dark - late at night three days ago, the telephone rang! The friend had secured two passes for Saturday nite and Adam's performance! He left instructions for me to pick up the passes at the venue's 'will-call'.
'The rest is history'!
After I finished jumping on the bed, my now-awakened DH said I should share his ticket with one of my Adamtopian friends. Hello Didi!!
The evening was full of surprises - which began when I was in the will-call line. Everyone who attended had to sign a waiver - I never read mine! Apparently, it said something about not holding the venue liable if our hearing was damaged! When I handed the waiver back, the attendant started looking for my tickets in a stack of envelopes. She didn't find them. I began to feel a little sick. I gave her the name my friend told me to mention, and then a man who was standing behind the attendant said 'Oh, you are ----! Come with me". I didn't want to leave Didi behind, so I quickly found her in the line and had her sign her waiver . . . then the man took us inside, told us to enjoy the show . . . and left!! I looked around the empty lobby, and just walked into the theatre. Beautiful venue! I floated down the aisle to the stage, seeing numerous seats with white 'reserved' signs on them. Some rows were taped off. But not front row center!!!!!! We hunkered down and whispered, and, I think, tried to appear very inconspicuous as Grace Potter finished her sound check. I was so afraid someone was going to come and tell us to move!! Tried to place deep concentration on Grace and her keyboard; then Didi said "Look who's right over there!" - it was ADAM.
And then my soul began to leave the station. My spirit was up and out and around the room but I stayed put - as if glued to my seat cushion. I couldn't bring myself to go up to Adam, but we were in the same place; occupying the same space! Certainly, he could have ambled up to Didi and me. Ha! Instead, he walked through an aisle to the other side of the theatre and exited 'stage right' towards the back of the stage. Just in time! By then my lips were dry and I was panting like AFL does in 'Shady' - so Didi went out to the lobby bar to get us some wine. Then, in came the thundering herd! The floor was shaking!! The stampede for good seats began as Didi delivered a fruity Sauvignon Blanc. Took a sip, and started feeling pretty smug and delicious! I was in fucking front row center to see fucking Adam Lambert!!!!
Opening acts were excellent! I hope to hear Grace Potter and the group Delta Rae (Ray?) again! Thankfully, they didn't stay on too long - for obvious reasons!!! Out came the tigerskin rug; the setlist was taped to the floor, and the wait was not long. Surprised that the whole band was there!! I hardly noticed them, because Adam followed them onto the stage, and, well, the 'beam of light' that is Adam Fucking Lambert lit my sky and painted the world and my night.
Oh, the purity of his voice! The purity of his presence! Perfection! His body flowed through his clothing; movements so free he could have practiced dancing naked in the dark.
I cannot understand why he hasn't conquered the world.
It was the end of 'Naked Love'. I haven't watched the videos yet (can't wait to treat myself!) but, as I recall he picked up a towel and wiped his brow and the side of his neck. He looked AT ME!! And, as he talked about how we all had just been singing along, he came up to the edge of the stage and HANDED ME HIS TOWEL!!!! HANDED MEEEEEE HIS TOWEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can't remember what I did!!! I know Adam went back to his stool for a drink of water - and I noticed Tommy drinking out of a wine glass. I think I was squeezing the towel and shamelessly pressing it against my face. It smelled clean and fresh and without a hint of cologne. *ah, just a sec . . . checking . . . yep . . . still smells the same!* I could not take my eyes off Adam - how can I explain such surprise and absolute, complete ecstasy?? This man, Adam Lambert, mere mortal, has fueled not my search for realization of joy and blessings and bravery - - - he has sparked and actualized my understanding of the self I can really be; the self I've always wanted to be; the brave self I've yearned to believe I am.
I came to last night's performance thinking I'd have a chance to talk to Adam. I wanted to tell him how I feel; I wanted to ask him Alek's question "Do you dream?" Instead, He talked TO ME. He talked about what a fan's joy can mean TO HIM. He told you and me - all of us who've been changed - what it means to see, coming back to him, the joy he creates every time he opens his gorgeous mouth and 'sings his heart'. Beauty lies in pure joy. I felt pure and fulfilled and honest and raw . . . the wonderment of believing in him, in music, in life's dance, in you and me. I wanted to kiss the world!
Didi and I sang all the way home. For some reason, Adam's range on nearly every song matches my soprano - which has gotten weaker over the years, as I've grown older and my breath support wanes. But last night I sang to the heavens, as we drove home through the vineyards. The magic of music - Adam's music - wrapped itself around me and my towel and my memories; and brought me back to Adamtopia - and to you.

Radio Requests Tips
1. Local requests. You should call, e-mail, message or tweet your request to your LOCAL HAC and Pop Station at most 1x per day. Send in a Mediabase Request up to 2x a week.
Find your local station!!! Great list of radio request links from AdamOfficial: www.adamofficial.com/ca/node/1519413 Find your stations with: radio-locator.com/ Twitter and Facebook directory: spins.fm/ |
2. Other requests. If you listen to a distant station online, make sure you include this info and the URL in your request. Spamming and excessive requests or requests from listeners who have no way to listen to the station can have the opposite of the intended result.
3. Be patient. Most radio DJs cannot play a song that is not on the station’s playlist but requests show a PD that there is demand for a song.
4. Niceness counts. Adam fans have a reputation for being polite and courteous to DJs, PDs and station personnel. It matters.
5. SAY THANKS! If stations in your area are already playing "TRESPASSING" let them know that you appreciate them and how much you LOVE the song.
