Not all was good in 1976, there was also KC and the Sunshine Band “(Shake, Shake, Shake) Shake Your Booty” and Starland Vocal Band “Afternoon Delight”.
Two songs Adam performed on Idol were released in 1976 – “Bohemian Rhapsody” and “Play That Funky Music White Boy”. (“Slow Ride” 1975, “If I Can’t Have You” 1977)
But one song from 1976 Heart “Crazy On You” is a perfect Adam fan theme song. There were few better bands that Heart in 1976 -- many people still consider Ann Wilson to be the best female lead rock vocalist ever.
I would love to hear Adam cover and update this song -- it could have been written for his voice.
