Finally got photobucket to work, I think...  Adam signing my pic!  How great that you have that photo of him signing and acknowledging that you made the mask! That is a very special memento! What a beautiful mask, but just wonder, did Adam keep the mask? |

(BTW - Today during a meeting, I wanted to scream "EAT THE CUPCAKE!" Is that wrong do you think?) I said TRYING!! ;D & Um, no.... I think not also! He's always trying, isn't he... Well, in his defense, why the hell not? Adam was a huge game changer on that show. HIs musical instincts, his performance instincts, his fashion instincts, his theater staging background, his intelligence and creativity --- THAT'S how you play the Idol game. No one from any season could be a better model or mentor for someone trying to work the show to their best advantage. But, it's a bit like his mentoring. He was right on in his perceptions and his advice, but the kids didn't do what he suggested. I don't think they ignored his advice. I think they couldn't do the things he proposed because it is not in their arsenal, in their repertoire. They didn't know how to make the sounds and the interpretations --- lacking the control and technique. In the same way, trying to copy Adam's approach will only be as successful as the contestants' talent, ability, technique and personality can take them. |
