South Africa's history is extremely complicated but it was a British dominion from 1910-1961, and the British controlled various parts of the country for over a century before that.

Is someone else freaking out? I swear I'm as nervous and excited as if I was there waiting in line to see Adam live. AND OMG, HE SOUNDCHECKED UNDERNEATH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope the live stream works, otherwise I will die.  |

aleks, I went and read the Wikipedia article on "South African English" and learned that among the words S.A. has contributed to the English language is commando.  Just thought you'd want to know. ;D
