Well no luck on finding any news on Adam or even his opener post concert, but I am not a true ninja. I did find on Nov 16 this article about Toya Delazy was in the Mail and Guardian. mg.co.za/article/2012-11-16-toya-delazy-measured-by-what-makes-her-different-1"The granddaughter of Chief Mangosuthu Buthelezi and great-granddaughter of Princess Magogo is intent on leaving her own unique mark on the world." >>>>>> This month has been a swirl of excitement for her as she’s currently opening for American Idol Adam Lambert on his SA tour, and the music video of her first single, Pump It On, has been nominated for Most Gifted Video Of The Year and Most Gifted New Comer Video in the 2012 Channel O Music Video Awards this weekend. Yeah, unfortunately that is all I found, too. And I can google with the best. :

Do you think the sleeves are detachable? No, the sleeves are not detachable. I sew dance costumes. I've seen this arm hole design in many belly dance dress costumes. They are designed this way for freedom of movement when the arms are raised. Otherwise the garment would hike way up when the arms are raised, even more so than Adam's jacket does here. The ballroom dance world solves this problem in a different way. They set the sleeves in the dress/shirt/jacket (women's/men's wear) at a right angle to the arm holes in much the same way as for a T-shirt but much tighter around the arms. With this design, the material at the shoulders stays much more flat and doesn't bunch up when the arms are raised.

However, since it is Adam, they might also be detachable.
