My conclusion as to why Adam does not seem tall in images, due to the simple fact, that he is so well-proportioned physique. If a man is a little, his head looks large compared to the body. Tall human head look small in comparison to the body. Since Adam is fully complete, the pictures give the impression that he is of medium height. That's why people are surprised when they see him live. LOL

I was just thinking they could add some back tracking of the hand claps for Trespassing to really get that beat going in the song when performing it on stage. It's hard to hear anyone clapping sometimes. But of course...I know nothing! I've been thinking that same thing. I would really like to see more of the clapping during Trespassing. In South Africa it obviously wasn't possible because there weren't that many hard core fans there but I loved how Tommy started to "teach" the clap. I have decided that when I go to Adam's concert, even if I would be the only one, I will definitely do the choreographed hand clapping. To me the clapping seems like something Adam would like to see. After all, in the beginning he had the whole band doing it so that we would participate... Often, even if I'm just sitting here alone and watching videos of Adam doing Trespassing, I still do the clap. I get the same feeling that comes when you watch Queen videos of Radio Ga Ga or We will rock you. It is such a powerful unite feeling that is born when everyone does the clap. And it looks so AMAZING! Let's werk on that bitches! ETA: Just in case someone wants to cry their eyes out:

Over the past 3 years I've been reading people reaction when they fist met Adam. Now I'm not surprise when they said Adam looks more gorgeous in person.. ;D ;D But they're surprise that he's so TALL. I was surprised with this reaction. From his SF audition I knew Adam is over 6ft, I just wasn't sure if he's 6.1ft or 6.2ft. If people watched him on AI they saw when he's standing next to Seacrest. So I'm a bit confused how people think that he's just like another regular guy. ;D. I don't get it either. He is usaully a head above everyone else he stands next to in photos, so the "You are so tall" exclamations are a mystery to me. BTW, he is 6'1", without his boots on.
The very first time I heard of Adam Lambert was on Jan 8 2009. This was before the auditions aired on Idol but there was a rumor that this gay guy had made it to Hollywood. There was a link to the Arts4Life video - and that was my first glimpse of the man that was to (kind of) take over my life for nearly 4 years. Anyway - the point I'm trying to make is that ppl were saying he was very short! Only 5'4"! Obviously that was discounted the minute he appeared on the show.
I remember being disappointed that he was so short because he was so CUTE!

[/IMG]
A small head on that body and those shoulders would look ridiculous. But even Adam, in the interview with the DJ, said he had a large head! BTW, there are studies that have concluded that celebrities/charismatic people do have larger heads than most.
Okay, I'll buy that. Not necessarily big out of proportion with his body size/type. As for Adam thinking it's big - he also thinks he's fat! #distortedbodyimage. ;D Speaking of the elfin features, my image of that has been forever changed since Lord of the Rings. There are times when Adam looks absolutely ethereal making me think of the beautiful elves of Middle Earth. He was like that at the first FS concert and even in pictures at the barricades after the AI tour when the screaming seemed to actually be "hurting" him. So elfin features, to me......yeah, I get that.

I am so glad we got videos from CT because they have been few & far between from JoBurg! When the stream didn't work out I consoled myself with the thought that THERE WILL BE VIDS! But now I know of only three. Four really, but the IIHY one is shaky & not the best quality. I'm waiting for a better version because the screaming crowd when he comes on stage is so moving!
I know I sound entitled. but this was such a special show. And there seemed to be tons of people with cameras. So where's the "stuff"? LOL
nina - I do the clap at home too! In fact I do it when I'm doing my walk. People think I'm nuts - so what?
