So I am kind of obsessed with this paragraph......soooooooo I was thinking NO better place to get feedback than here  The producers of MAMA have warned that the performances by the big overseas stars will be "mammoth performances,"and are expecting the ceremony to be "a place in which music, artists and fans from all around the world will be able to share their emotions through music."
MAMMOTH PERFORMANCES by the big overseas stars....... This would include Adam, to me this means his extra time in China is rehearsing with local dancers, back-up singers & set design at someone else's expense. Soooooo how crazy am I? Or does anyone else think this is a possibility???????? |

Hopefully that's not the kind of humor he displays at the Diva show This is his first time hosting a show. So I am pretty sure they have all scripted for him with all the teleprompter but since Adam's smart and quick and very funny, I also think he will have some suggestions or he can do off script a bit  ;D |

The NCOE video is listed in the voting for the "charts of the year" on the site of our German TV music channel VIVA! At the moment it's only on rank 290. :-/ I don't know if international peeps can also vote but could you all try? Thank you! Not crazy at all - it's an interesting theory. He does have a heck of a lot of time in between gigs. So unless Sauli is meeting him for a vacation, you could very well be right.
And what do we make of the "collaboration between a male couple" mentioned here (posted by Wal earlier on) - anything?

The producers of the 2012 Mnet Asian Music Awards (2012 MAMA) announced in a surprise move that "the shocking performance of this year will be a collaboration between a male couple."
At the press roundtable for 2012 MAMA held on November 20 at the CJ E&M Center, the producers revealed the issue-making collaboration set to follow Lee Hyori and T.O.P, Hyuna and Jang Hyun Seung′s kiss performances this year.
Director Ahn So Yeon of Mnet, who directed Trouble Maker′s real kiss performance last year, said, "This time we′re preparing a performance with a male couple. You can definitely look forward to it."
The 2012 MAMA will take place on November 30 in Hong Kong.

I think it's possible if we add China + all the asian countries such as Singapore, Malaysia, HK, Taiwan, S Korea, Phillipine and Japan. ;D I'm so glad that DMG gets Adam this gig. It's like exposing him to all these countries. I meant he's popular enough but with The Voice of China and this gig and then Hennesy .. i really hope he will explode in Asia and Pacific. Slowly but surely... slowly but surely and I think I have patience enough ;D |

BUT.. BUT.. will this 20k follower will translate to ticket sales? We know that twitter follower does not always translate to album or single sales.
The official Chinese Fansite's weibo account has almost 20,000 followers, Adam's official weibo has 193,217 followers, trailing only behind Paris Hilton, Shakira and Avril among foreign entertainers. Twitter followers don't equate to album/single sales, or concert revenues, especially in a foreign country where English isn't their language.
Here is an example: Maroon 5 had 2 big sold-out arena concerts in Shanghai & Hong Kong around the same week when Adam made his Voice of China appearance, yet Adam Levine only has 15,408 weibo followers. Our Adam would sell out arenas in China as well. |
