My K-Pop friend has warned me that there are always all sort of rumours about the MAMA performances, but in the end nothing really leaks and everything they hear turns out to be fake. She's been watching this show for 6 years and they never manage to find out anything. So who knows what Adam will do... :dunno: I'm certainly excited. 8-) 8-) 8-) About the mic, I think he looks at it that way because it's gilttery.  I don't see anything phallic about it. It's just a mic to me.  |

These are the funniest promos I've ever seen and VH1 should be exploding these (pardon the pun) on TV. Can't see how anyone could ever get tired of them. :4OMG:
What got me about the throat coat one was Adam tackling the mic and belting out that NOTE...full out..no lead in....I don't know which note he sang, but who does that???? On pitch, total control. BAM!
Gotta check vocal masterclass, cause that was phenomenal!

So I am kind of obsessed with this paragraph......soooooooo I was thinking NO better place to get feedback than here The producers of MAMA have warned that the performances by the big overseas stars will be "mammoth performances,"and are expecting the ceremony to be "a place in which music, artists and fans from all around the world will be able to share their emotions through music."
MAMMOTH PERFORMANCES by the big overseas stars....... This would include Adam, to me this means his extra time in China is rehearsing with local dancers, back-up singers & set design at someone else's expense. Soooooo how crazy am I? Or does anyone else think this is a possibility????????
Not crazy at all - it's an interesting theory. He does have a heck of a lot of time in between gigs. So unless Sauli is meeting him for a vacation, you could very well be right.
And what do we make of the "collaboration between a male couple" mentioned here (posted by Wal earlier on) - anything?

Brace yourselves for this year′s MAMA issues, because a male couple is going to be let loose!
The producers of the 2012 Mnet Asian Music Awards (2012 MAMA) announced in a surprise move that "the shocking performance of this year will be a collaboration between a male couple."
At the press roundtable for 2012 MAMA held on November 20 at the CJ E&M Center, the producers revealed the issue-making collaboration set to follow Lee Hyori and T.O.P, Hyuna and Jang Hyun Seung′s kiss performances this year.
Director Ahn So Yeon of Mnet, who directed Trouble Maker′s real kiss performance last year, said, "This time we′re preparing a performance with a male couple. You can definitely look forward to it."
The 2012 MAMA will take place on November 30 in Hong Kong.
