Ah right - just saw 2013 date. Yeah but the schedule below it is the 2012 dates and I think I remember Adam did a Ski weekend benefit last year about that time so maybe the Adam part is from last year but they haven't finished updating the page with anything but the 2013 dates? I remember he did something private where he performed new songs but we didn't get any videos and we were just dying until we got the vids from the Jezebel show in Atlanta a week or so later. I think that private gig was a benefit for CF. |

OMG this fandom is soo insane and I love it ... I saved a vid for 3 days that I wanted to show you ... now it is online ... not really relevant anymore ... whatever ... loooove Atopia who bring the most necessary info on Adam (ok and on Sauli ... revealed myselft to be a stan)

The selection process was hard. Many of his idols were at the auditions for the gig with Lambert. One after another was sent home. "At the end the drummer of P.Diddy and I were the only ones left", the 22 year old tells. Then they both were sent home too. For one week there was silence. Then Lambert's music director Brian London called: Fabian Egger got the job! Maybe their choice had to do with him being a fan of the Yellowcard drummer, Longineau Parsons who played with Lambert in the past, and having a similar (drum) style as him.
Then everything went fast: 15 songs to lern, rehearsals and after a while the Rheintaler (Rheintal = a region in Switzerland) already sat in a plane to Australia with the band. "It was an awesome experience", Egger tells. With his 22 years he is the baby of the band, and to match the lead singer's style, the put eyeliner around the eyes for the performance in Melbourne.
Before Egger had to head to Switzerland, to renew his American work visa in the US-embassy, there was still time to shop clothes together. "We are both shopaholics and found nice things - I got t-shirts and bling jewellery." I've wondered what happened to Fabian.. whether he was only meant to play the one gig in Australia, which doesn't sound practical, or...?? |
